I discovered Vietnamese food at a food festival, since then I have traveled many miles for many moons to find the best Banh Mi sandwich. Banh Mi Metro, Next to Pho Metro just surpassed my best experience ever.
The Staff were very accommodating, they were really busy they got to us quickly, I do not understand the language and they were very helpful when we explained what we wanted. Great staff, hard working and great food
We went here for 1st time today and had a great time. We ordered take out as this place was too busy and packed which shows that the food is very good & popular. My mom's friends who are Vietnamese recommended this place. I agree with their feed back. This is one of the very few Vietnamese places in the East end that we actually found really good, great portions and authentic. The staff are all Vietnamese and it is Vietnamese fun. Very authentic. The Vermicelli Bun Dac Biet is really good, Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Soup) and Banh Hoi is really good too. We ordered B1, S1, H4. All very good. Would come back for more take out again! :)
Apparently one of the better places for Pho. It was good but didn’t find it that much different from other places. Fried shrimp and pork spring rolls where great.
Definitely one of my top 5 favorite pho places in the GTA. I had the spicy satay rare beef pho and can’t remember the last time I had such soft and tender shaved beef in my pho. The noodles were also nice and fresh and everything came together very well.
The location isn’t convenient for me but I’ll definitely be going out of my way.
This has been my go to pho place since they've opened many years ago....All because of a Groupon deal. If not for that I don't think I would have explored that part of Scarborough for pho! My usual dishes are pho with the rare beef or vermecelli with grilled pork and fried spring roll! I also enjoy their shrimp and pork wrap with the peanut sauce. Another must order is the ice coffee with condense milk if you are there. Or the mango slushie! My girls love that! Service is great and friendly. Food is served quickly and great for family lunch or dinner!
I ordered a small Pho Tai Sate which came to $10 after tax and tip. I have had some mediocre pho lately and this was a refreshing change from that norm. The size was perfect for lunch and the satay flavour was delicious! The heat was perfect for the cool autumn day and the rest of the bowl was just as it should be. Pho Metro is now on my go-to list.
This is among my top 3 favourite pho places in the city. I've been several times now and I find the rare beef noodle soup very consistent. Although I prefer the beef from Pho Mi Asia, North York, I prefer the broth from Pho Metro. You can also ask for no MSG if you'd like. The grilled meats here are better than a lot of other pho places and it's fun to eat their special rice noodle wraps where they provide a specially designed bowl of water and dried sheets of rice paper so you can prepare your own. The chicken wings are okay for Vietnamese style too. Service is fine.
I've never been disappointed. Always great food and it tastes great too. Always come here for pho or vermicelli. The beef is soooooooo good!
Yummy! I ordered their House Bahn. It came with chicken, pork, deep fried spring rolls, shrimp paste on a sugarcane stick, pickled veggies and a bunch of other good stuff. The portion was HUGE and kept me full for quite a while. I got great bang for my buck here.
This is definitely one of the better Vietnamese places I've been to
Today was a very long day at Bluffer Park Beach. We stayed very late and didn't think we would have time to cook dinner once we got back home. I recalled that there was a popular pho restaurant in the hood and would be on the way back home. I found many mentions of this place by the former Toronto Chowhound groups with mostly positive reviews with the exception of one. This restaurant started in this location and has franchised out of Scarborough.
Best Pho i've had in Toronto so far, very flavorful! Also tried the mixed grilled meats with vermicelli, huge portion and super tasty at a low price!
Bit out of the way, but will come back for sure.
Constantly great. Nothing beats their broth, made from the heart. Order a small p2 and you'll be good for the day. Rice paper spring rolls were also good as well as the entrees for example rice and beef.. So simple but so good.
This place is consistently good every time I go. I've been here a few times for dinner and leave satisfied every time. The interior is quite modest, nothing too fancy, definitely a casual dining setting. The service is pretty good with staff that's attentive from taking orders, refilling tea and bringing your meal to you.
I've had the vermicelli dishes and the rare beef pho. The quality of the ingredients are pretty good and they do not skimp out on the portions. Food has great flavour and is well seasoned.
Always a pleasure when I come and dine here. Soups are all delicious and flavorful. Vermicelli and rice dishes have a lot of meat and the portion is quite plentiful. Can't say the same for the rice dishes. Their apps are a little expensive but good nevertheless...especially their salad rolls. On the weekends, this place gets pretty packed but they always accommodate. I always come here whenever I am feeling Vietnamese cuisine.. I probably come here at least once a week!
Great Service & Quality food. I've been going to Pho Metro since this place opened and this little family restaurant always serves fresh and tasty food. The environment is always clean and the persons running this business is always pleasant.
I find that everytime I want to try a new item, I can't believe how good it is! I've tried the pho noodles, fresh rolls, spring rolls, pad thai, viet beef stew, stir fry etc.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience
Great pho. expensive salad rolls. Really liked the Pho soup here. BUT $4.50 for a salad roll? A Little pricey. but the pho soup was really good! loved it!
This place is always clean and the quality of food is consistent. They have the best pho and pad thai in scarborough... oh, and the beef rice rolls are sooo good!
Best Pho i've ever had. I gotta say - after my friend introduced me to Pho a little of a year ago I've been hooked. My favorite is the rare beef pho and Pho Metro does it the best that I've had.
I live in Markham and anytime I'm remotely close to Warden and Lawrence, I make my way to Pho Metro. Tasty, inexpensive, and filling!!!! YUM!!! The pork and shrimp wraps are on of my favorites as well.
The staff here are friendly personable and competent. They always get my order right EVERY time and when I tell them I'm in a hurry they get my food out QUICK!!
I recommend this place to anyone - In fact I've brought a number of friends there with me who now go there regularly when they are in the area as well.
AWESOME!!!
Just can't say enough good about this place! It's a family run business and it shows by how how much they all care.
Both food and service are excellent.
The smoothies are excellent as well.
I only wish they where closer to where I live!
Amazing! Loved it. Small soup is still huge.
Delicious broth. Once this place first opened up a few years ago I haven't bothered to go to any other pho restaurants.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, the service is fast.
There was this one time where I got sick and lost my voice and one of the owners (I forgot her name but she's so friendly) She made me a hot lemon/lime drink to help soothe my throat. It was just great of her and very thoughtful!
The broth they make is wonderful. It's very full flavored and has this rich taste that other surrounding pho places don't hit. In comparison to Pho Saigon another popular pho restaurant (just one main intersection south of Pho Metro) to Pho Metro, I say Pho Metro really does hit the spot. Saigon's broth has this water downed taste and it lacks the distinctive qualities of a tantalizing pho broth.
The pricing is reasonable and the selection and quality is great. I wouldn't change anything in their menu since their soup is so good! it's a must try!
Excellent food & very friendly staff!. My husband and I can't get enough of Pho Metro!
Hot, delicious food arrives at the table within five minutes. The prices are fantastic, the decor modern and the staff are always great to talk to.
Clean restaurant with a urban feeling. Friendly service with great tasting food.
Great food, workers there are friendly to talk to.
The cigar thick spring rolls ($4.50 for 2 or $7.50 for 4) are the best I’ve ever had with a filling where you can actually taste the pork. They are crispy and have an airy delicate centre; I could easily have two to myself! As a warning, Pho Metro’s spring rolls are served piping hot (coming from someone who can handle hot temperatures), so you may want to hold yourself back and let them cool down a bit.
