I discovered Vietnamese food at a food festival, since then I have traveled many miles for many moons to find the best Banh Mi sandwich. Banh Mi Metro, Next to Pho Metro just surpassed my best experience ever.
The Staff were very accommodating, they were really busy they got to us quickly, I do not understand the language and they were very helpful when we explained what we wanted. Great staff, hard working and great food
We went here for 1st time today and had a great time. We ordered take out as this place was too busy and packed which shows that the food is very good & popular. My mom's friends who are Vietnamese recommended this place. I agree with their feed back. This is one of the very few Vietnamese places in the East end that we actually found really good, great portions and authentic. The staff are all Vietnamese and it is Vietnamese fun. Very authentic. The Vermicelli Bun Dac Biet is really good, Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Soup) and Banh Hoi is really good too. We ordered B1, S1, H4. All very good. Would come back for more take out again! :)
Apparently one of the better places for Pho. It was good but didn’t find it that much different from other places. Fried shrimp and pork spring rolls where great.
Definitely one of my top 5 favorite pho places in the GTA. I had the spicy satay rare beef pho and can’t remember the last time I had such soft and tender shaved beef in my pho. The noodles were also nice and fresh and everything came together very well.
The location isn’t convenient for me but I’ll definitely be going out of my way.
This has been my go to pho place since they've opened many years ago....All because of a Groupon deal. If not for that I don't think I would have explored that part of Scarborough for pho! My usual dishes are pho with the rare beef or vermecelli with grilled pork and fried spring roll! I also enjoy their shrimp and pork wrap with the peanut sauce. Another must order is the ice coffee with condense milk if you are there. Or the mango slushie! My girls love that! Service is great and friendly. Food is served quickly and great for family lunch or dinner!
I ordered a small Pho Tai Sate which came to $10 after tax and tip. I have had some mediocre pho lately and this was a refreshing change from that norm. The size was perfect for lunch and the satay flavour was delicious! The heat was perfect for the cool autumn day and the rest of the bowl was just as it should be. Pho Metro is now on my go-to list.
This is among my top 3 favourite pho places in the city. I've been several times now and I find the rare beef noodle soup very consistent. Although I prefer the beef from Pho Mi Asia, North York, I prefer the broth from Pho Metro. You can also ask for no MSG if you'd like. The grilled meats here are better than a lot of other pho places and it's fun to eat their special rice noodle wraps where they provide a specially designed bowl of water and dried sheets of rice paper so you can prepare your own. The chicken wings are okay for Vietnamese style too. Service is fine.
I've never been disappointed. Always great food and it tastes great too. Always come here for pho or vermicelli. The beef is soooooooo good!
Yummy! I ordered their House Bahn. It came with chicken, pork, deep fried spring rolls, shrimp paste on a sugarcane stick, pickled veggies and a bunch of other good stuff. The portion was HUGE and kept me full for quite a while. I got great bang for my buck here.
This is definitely one of the better Vietnamese places I've been to
Today was a very long day at Bluffer Park Beach. We stayed very late and didn't think we would have time to cook dinner once we got back home. I recalled that there was a popular pho restaurant in the hood and would be on the way back home. I found many mentions of this place by the former Toronto Chowhound groups with mostly positive reviews with the exception of one. This restaurant started in this location and has franchised out of Scarborough.
