Our favorite restaurant in Toronto!!
My husband and I come here every time we are in Toronto. The service is always amazing. The food is outstanding!! We recommend the Chicken Madras!!
Food was good but a little oily. Service was slow as they were busy serving “their own friends” . Still worth trying. Momos were delicious and fresh.
We ordered through Uber Eats on Monday night and our food came quick and was still nice and warm. We had the Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry, and Chana Masala for $45 after taxes and fees. All of the dishes were awesome! The butter chicken was creamy and flavourful, the lamb curry was tender and spicy, and the chana masala (my fav) was one of the best I've ever had. We made our own basmati at home to keep the cost manageable. Too bad this place has such a low rating...we disagree!
A nice place to be. I always go to have the Chicken Momo. Never fails to impress. I always visit there, the music they play in the background is so nice.
The Good: Eggplant Bharta and Chicken Jalfraize were both really good and fairly priced. Buttered Nan was also really fresh, warm and soft. Kinda doughy, but I like it like that. Service was quick and friendly.
The Okay: Not the best soundproofing. Voices got pretty echoey even though people around us were speaking quietly.
The Overall: Reasonably priced for the portions. Would definitely go again.
Tried the chicken momos and the chicken madras finished coconut milk. Both were delicious. I have also tried the lunch buffet and it's great as well.
Possibly the best Indian Buffet in Yorkville hands down, if not all of Downtown Toronto and the whole of GTA!!!
We went in with a Groupon (Lunch Buffet for Two + Lassi Drinks for Two). The service was very friendly, food was fresh, warm and/or cold (as necessary), and best part was that they brought fresh from the oven Naans straight to your table, unlike most Indian Buffets where the Naans go Cold & Hard.
They even kept the Tandoori (BBQ) Chicken covered, so the chicken was warm & soft. The lentil soup was very good. But the best part of the experience was the Kheer (Sweet Rice Pudding) wasn't sugared like every single Indian restaurant I've visited. It tasted like home, and for once you could taste the rice, milk/cream, and not just the sugar.
Food: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Location: 3/5 (Located next to a Cigar Shop, so there's a constant linger of cigars in the area)
