Everything was good- the ingredients were exceptionally fresh, service was friendly and very attentive. The ambiance was true Japanese minimalism. Perhaps, my only criticism was the ever so slight crystallization on the vanilla ice cream. The mocha lava cake was delicious.
However, for this price point, I wanted more… this place didn’t “wow” me. Don’t get me wrong, everything was good— but when I’m spending $180 for a meal, I expected to be wow’ed and have something completely unique.
Worthy of 5 Stars. Drinks were inventive and delicious!! The sushi was fantastic, typically I hate mackerel but they just make their dishes that good you can’t hate anything. W were on the rooftop which made the experience even better.
Great place for sashimi and torched-pressed sushi. The flavors are great and unique. Definitely, our go to sushi place when we are in town. Can't wait to come back!
