Lovely dinner with family. The best Thai food in many years. Unusual dishes and flavours to rave about. I will be back.

We tried the 5 course tasting menu. The appetizers, dumplings and salads were the tastiest courses. The soup, the main course and dessert were underwhelming. We all ordered different mains so we were able to sample everything - just expected more flavour considering the starters and the price. Overall still good place to go one time for the experience. The service was excellent.

Kiin was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. So many colors, flavours, and textures combined to form a really nice experience. Would definitely recommend it, the only negative comment I have is that the cocktails were $16 a piece. Thankfully they have some awesome cider on tap that was really good and affordable.

I was a bit hesitant coming here for dinner, since there were so many reviews that said it was expensive for the portion sizes. While Kiin is not cheap, the price and portions are comparable to other restaurants on Adelaide. We ordered all the dishes pictured, plus one more portion of ribs and roti and a drink and it came up to about $50/person after tips and tax. And we were very full by the end. Every dish was amazing in their own way, and it has been a while since I’ve gone to a place where the food was so consistently good. Not one dish has disappointed any of us. Besides, these are flavours you don’t usually experience in other Thai restaurants like Pai or Khao San Road. I would highly recommend order à la carte instead of the prix fixe menu. As à la carte is about $80/person, for five dishes, and the four of us shared 6 dishes and came up to $50/person. TL:DR It’s not as expensive as other reviews made it sound and the food was definitely worth it.

Great service, amazing decor, you can tell that the owner put a lot of thoughts into this place. Every cup, every tile have been carefully selected. You would really enjoy your time dinning here. All the dish have level of flavors, it’s really enjoyable. However, a little too salty for many dishes. I still love them.

This meal was so delicious I have to do a three-post series about it. Kiin has been one of the restaurant's I have been willing to dine ever since it opened. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with dimmed lighting and great knowledgeable staff that welcomes you right away. The place is well designed, and something I have not seen being able to sit up and close to the kitchen, and have a conversation with the chef. There's also a bar section or dining area for your preference. I am not sure if this a norm, but they start you off with complimentary roots chips. The menu is small but focused on regional Thai dishes. It also provides certain that such plates may be gluten-free or may contain nut in it. I would recommend looking at the drink menu as it looks pleasing to try. We opted for the prix fixe menu which is a five-course menu ($80). Handcrafted dumplings (Roy Thai) were just a delight to have, and attractive that you need multiple pictures of it. My favorite one out of the four would be the Chor-Ladda that consists of pickled raddish, coconut wrapped in a jasmine rice flour. There's also the Miang Kung that had a great bite to it, and amazing shrimp on top. Mha Hor that had a small kick to it with the chili, and Thoong Thong. It was recommended that is you have the wonton wrap dumpling first, and finish it the plate cucumber on the bottom. Kiin delivers an elegant prix fixe menu to the table selected by the head chef. The prix fixe delivers a five-course menu beginning with assorted handcrafted dumplings that I posted previously. The next dish served was so beautiful that your camera must eat first called Khao Yum. A vegan that consists of 17 ingredients carefully plated on the golden wok and recommended to mix. This bowl was a melting pot of flavor and would recommend it to everyone. The next course you have a choice between two dishes and I selected the pomelo salad as I love this fruit. My first impression of this dish was the coriander lime dressing was tasty and complimented the kitchen. The fruit was well-segmented with the lime sauce cutting down the bitterness of it. Lastly, is the crunch to the dish with peanuts and toasted coconut. I would also praise the bar for an excellent old fashion drink that compliments well with the root chips.

The food here was delicious! We got the dumplings, the wing bean salad, the sea bread and the beef and we polished it all off! The server had really great recommendations and was just excited about the dishes which was a treat. We tried both desserts, the exotic fruit was a cool experience and the roti was delicious! If you leave room for dessert, I would suggest getting both as well!

This isn’t a typical Thai restaurant you will find around the city. Each dish is featured by delicate touches making the presentation a true pleasure to your eyes. The food also taste all amazing. My personal favorite is assorted appetizer that come compiled with five different kind of appetizers. The serving staff are all professional and highly attentive. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 5/5
