First time ever at Chop and I definitely went to the right location. I came here tonight for a family birthday celebration and what a great experience!
Our party ordered the steak bites, furious fries, scallops, beyond burger & steaks, shrimp and their veggies! Fantastic.
Clean, friendly service and great food. Our server Caroline and one of the managers Matt (both just so nice) came by our table to always make sure we were well taken care of.

Beautiful restaurant! I love the lighting settings and overall ambiance. The good was good. The new york stake was a delight according to my friend but the cod wasn’t to die for. Still think the food is good though. Wish they would put a candle on the birthday dessert but still good to have a birthday treat. Jessica, our server, was amazing. She kept checking up on us to ensure we were good. This restaurant is pretty busy on a Saturday night so it’s important to book ahead of time for reservation.
Parking is ample too.

We had a wonderful time celebrating with 35 of our family and friends a wonderful afternoon at the Chop Toronto. My sons first holy communion was a great success thanks to the wonderful event planning team especially Brandon the Event Manager and service staff! They were superbly hospitable and ensured the event ran smoothly. Special thank to the Chef and the kitchen for dishing out our menu cooked to perfection with great presentation on each plate! I went to Chop Dixon Rd last night for dinner with my sister. We were seated quickly in the lounge and served by our amazing server Preston. She did an outstanding job that we both commented on repeatedly throughout our dinner. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, the dessert was great as well, but our server Preston definitely made the experience stand out. We will definitely be returning.

My friends and me went to have dinner together, everything was good. The service amazing, Alex was very kind, she suggested me the chicken (I prefer not to eat red meat at night) and was super juicy and very good flavor. And the desserts yummy, we tried the new pineapple 🍍 cake and was so delightful.

The staff are very friendly, and attentive to our every need, making sure our drinks were topped up and plates cleared once done. We attended a small function, the food was well prepared and delicious. This was our first time visiting this location. The atmosphere and decor, was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and wheelchair accessible, there is a lot of parking available on the side and back of the location.

Absolutely delicious! Had the garlic shrimp and crab cakes to start, then prime rib and a seasonal Brazilian sirloin as entrees. Bok Choy and roasted beats were a pleasant change from the usual side veggies. Friendly staff, nice patio, and clean facilities. Would definitely go back.

Happy hour review: it’s okay. Not really a deal but you’re walking away with variety, and it’s every day. Not overly impressed with the quality of the steak bites (fried, one can only guess why) and the crab cakes are more filler than crab, more like an arancini. Half a sandwich: thin slice of prime rib beef dip and fries for $10 isn’t bad but unfortunately needs work on presentation which I don’t ever see happening. Tuna tataki was overly seared, and the broccolini was serviceable (the pistachio garnish saved it) Chop is a mixed bag, and I’m not convinced it does anything better than it’s competitors (namely, Keg) for what is comparably priced steaks.

Excellent service paired with excellent food! We dined out on the patio. Alice & Meagan were great with recommendations. Polite and easy to talk to. We were on our way to The Keg nearby, and decided to try Chop instead. There's really no need to go back to the Keg; this place is so much better! Better food and better staff make for a better dining experience.

We had a great experience here, attentive and accommodating service, we were seated in the ideal dining room, the food and portions were all decent. Wasn't planning specifically on getting winterlicious, but we all found things we liked on that menu, so that worked out. Altogether a good chice of restaurants, I would not hesitate to go back, and in fact would recommend it.

So my family and I went to Chop for my brother's birthday. We normally go to the Keg down the street but decided to try something different. Hands down the most amazing steakhouse I've been to in a long time. The food was incredible and the staff was even better. Our server Ashley K was so polite and knowledgeable and truly made the dinner experience what it was. When I mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday we were served a delicious treat and even given a birthday card signed by all of the staff. I would 10000% come back here and have absolutely nothing negative to say.

After traveling abroad for a week, we were missing good “normal” food & were recommended Chop.
It was the best food we have ever eaten, even stateside. Our server, Kevin, was very nice & did a great job.

Had the petite filet, and even though it was delicious and done to perfection, I found the dinner rather light considering the price. At least it left room for the great dessert, but still left hungry and at $100 per meal, would have preferred a bit more on the plate (at amount includes wine and tip though).
Service was outstanding. Wish I had gotten the server's name, but we were rather a loud party of 6 ladies who hadn't seen each other in 35 years. ; )

We were going to The Keg but I have been wanting to try this place so we stopped in. So impressed and I am a steak snob. No sour dough bread but for me this is a plus so I'm not tempted by the bread. The food, service and wine selection make this a must try.

Food was good (2 people in attendance)! Had 2 appetizers (steak bites and shrimp cocktail). Dinner was Filet and Lobster for both. Meal was cooked perfect. Negative is that wait staff are too concerned with looking pretty and smiling for tips based on appearance of patrons rather than following protocol (watched 2 different tables get fresh bread soon after sitting down while I had to ask 2 times). Based on that, I would suggest Ruth's Chris if you are looking for "high end" food and service.

Loved it! I normally go to the Keg but we decided to try this place while in town. 100% impressed. The price is decent and the food is amazing. A lot of great options to choose from. Had the steak bites as my app and sirloin as my main (can't have too much steak!). Service was also really good. Definitely would come back.

My Boyfriend and I were here on Friday December 4th for my Birthday and we absolutely loved our dinner. Hands down the best steak dinner we had ever had. He had the Rib eye and I had the sirloin Oscar. There was total silence as we ate because we were savoring every yummy bite. We are going to come back twice a month now and make that our staple place! kudos to the chef(s) and the service was kind and welcoming. Nice romantic atmosphere. Excellent!

Great food. Had the steak and crab with mashed. My fiancee's steak was done too well. The manager quickly came over and put a rush on a second steak and took it off our bill. What a NYE dinner with family and friends. Free steak to start 2017.

We celebrated our anniversary and mentioned that to our server. Right away we were served champagne :) The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. When we left we were given a card with handwritten well wishes from all the staff and two free deserts. We will be going back!!!

After our less than memorable first visit to Chop Steakhouse last valentine's day, our second try today was night and day.
The server, Daria T, was most pleasant. She made sure we were very well taken care of. From the specials to the dessert recommendations and making sure our drinks were always topped off. We never had to look for her to ask for something, she was right there, on top of things.
I would also like to make special mention of one of the managers, Emily. She went above and beyond trying to make up for the terrible experience we had our first time, last valentine's day. From making sure our every moment was as excellent as could be to our complimentary dessert trio(to die for, btw) that made for the perfect end to a perfect dinner.
Thanks to both of you for the lovely evening and thanks to you we will be coming to visit Chop Steakhouse over and over in the future.
