Dailo is so incredibly cool. To me it is fine dining in blue jeans. Stunning room, impeccable service, Anton Potvin’s curated wine list and Nick Lui’s take in Asian food with the heart of a French trained chef. Do not miss this.

The staff are great they explain every dish they bring you out . The good is top class .well worth a visit
Just incredible. From the second you walk in you know it's going to be excellent.
The decor is well thought out, the space is bright, the ambiance is welcoming.
When we sat down we knew we had to do the tasting menu. It's incredibly well priced and so worth it. All other tasting menus we have done to date have been one dish per course. Most of the courses came with multiple dishes and each one it's own explosive set of incredible flavours.
I did the wine pairing which was so well done. A nice mix of reds and whites each complimenting the set of dishes in their own way. Lots of unique wines too, instead of a standard barrel aged oaky red it was a field red with a blend of 30+ grape varietals that was then chilled. Such a lovely unique experience.
All this to say it is worth the price whether you are just celebrating Toronto cuisine, an anniversary or have friends who love good food this is the place to go!
As someone who has grown up eating delicious Asian food I'm often unimpressed with New Asian Cuisine. It always just seemed like childhood dishes on smaller plates.
This was not the case here. DaiLo completely exceeded my expectations and was possibly one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was impeccable. Was honoured to have the chef bring out one of my courses himself. He and his team have truly killed it with all of these amazingly creative flavours–the tom yum custard, betel leaf wrap, and white chocolate sticky rice were a few of my favourites amongst favourites. Also, who knew tom yum and coconut water could taste so good together?
As someone who was dining solo, this was an insane amount of food. It felt like I was at my grandmother's house and she was trying to lovingly stuff me to death, except in this scenario it's fine dining (not that I'm complaining!).
Thank you for being the highlight of my Toronto visit, I would give you six stars if I could!
Fantastic experience. Went with 9 others for a birthday. $95 per person for the tasting menu - more amazing food than you can handle. Excellent value for the quality and quantity you get. Cocktails were delicious too.
10/10 will go back & recommend to friends
Tasting menu was great. Really enjoyed the deep fried watermelon, white rabbit glazed dumplings, wontons, and the Braised beef gnocchi (it was their special of the day). Cocktails were okay but not memorable. We had the jitterbug perfume (I’d recommend this). The old fashioned had too much ice and was watered down. The Tom Yum was too sweet.
Went here a while back, but I still remember the incredible experience, and the delicious tasting menu. So many incredible dishes and interesting flavour combinations, and every one a hit! The “tacos” were actually the most surprising and interesting dish, and I would’ve wanted more had I not already had so much more food on the way. Highly recommend, and hope I have the chance to visit again one day.
Tasting menu is fantastic. Pricey, but unique enough to be worth at least one trip. The deep fried watermelon, pumpkin dumplings, and deep fried whole fish are particular standouts.
Only miss was the first course, a squash in agedashi stock. Squash was a bit too hard and the flavours were too standard.
Everything else though, ranged from very good to fantastic.
There is a reason why this restaurant makes all the lists when you search "best restaurants in Toronto." Did the tasting menu with wine pairings. Every dish is beautiful and delicious. Also, at first you might think the portions are small but the food just kept coming. I thought they were going to have to roll me outta there as I pass out from a food coma! We pretty much tried everything on the menu and each bite had something to rave about. The wine pairings were fresh and just felt like summer. Do not skip the cocktail list. I had the Tom Yum cocktail which was one of the best cocktails I've had all year. I would go back just for that drink.
We had the tasting menu and it was superb! We also left with a full stomach. I don’t eat meat and my boyfriend has quite a few allergies and they were so accommodating. Definitely one of the best Asian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Service and staff were immaculate as well!
