Always good
This is one of our favourite restaurants in the city. The food is always consistently good. As is the service. Be sure to try the beet and goat cheese salad. Delicious.
We’ve eaten here 4-5 times (when visiting Toronto from US), and have had great experiences every time. The manager/?owner Peter is very accommodating, and the waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and professional. On our last visit, Edwin steered us toward trying grilled fresh sardines, a nice surprise for us. Dinner is always enjoyable, with nice choices.
We went with another couple this past Saturday night. Service was excellent in spite of the restaurant being very busy. However, it’s the food! I ordered the Mediterranean sea bass. Until this evening,Barrista and Chef prepared it fabulously. Evoo was its equal at the very least. So good!! I shared the caprese salad with my wife and it was very tasty. Sometimes you get this salad at other establishments and it is tasteless. A lesson for the future - senddit back!
Dinner at EVOO was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The entire family loved it and we can't wait to return!
Food was excellent, service was excellent. They were out of rosé, but gave us a tasty alternative. I would revisit this location again. Brian was an excellent server!
Delicious food with prices in the expected price range (~$15-$35 for lunch). The linguine was piping hot and delicious, and the swordfish was well-seared and firm, but tender. All the food we ordered had delicate and subtle but well-balanced flavours. Would definitely recommend trying this resto. One minor thing I found slightly off-putting was that they had a big velvet curtain separating the front and back of the restaurant. Not sure if they were renovating or something, but it felt somewhat crowded as a result. Still, would recommend it for the food.
Went to Evoo for a family Birthday. Valet parking is available. Service at Evoo is always amazing, staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable of all menu items. Started with a negroni to drink, which was tasty and enjoyable. Shared the beretta, and beef carpaccio, ordered extra bread at no cost to enjoy these delightful treats. Everyone enjoyed their various pastas at the table. I shared the misto which is a seafood platter, portions where amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. I matched this with a nice bottle of cabernet sauvignon. Was too full to enjoy a dessert, but did indulge in a latte. Overall food, experience and service is a definite 5 star!
Spectacular meal. Seafood linguini cannot be beat here. Moroccan Octopus is fantastic. German beer on tap. Calmari app was delicious. Service is top notch. Thanks to Peter and Harry and the great staff!!!
I went here before going to Casa Loma for a Christmas event, and I was wonderfully surprised. The food was surprisingly good! My favourite dish was the polenta with a gorgonzola mushrooms sauce - the polenta is soft and the sauce is amazingly full bodied flavour that blue cheese imparts into food. It was just a wonderful appetizer. The second dish that I loved was the tiramisu, it's old-school. Lady fingers are used, not cake. Tv Eyre soaked in coffee liquor, the mascarpone layers were creamy, perfectly balanced. I loved my dinner that night!
Hopping Saturday night spot, great service and atmosphere. Italian fare at its best. Appetizers, mains and deserts all excellent. Reservations suggested or you will definitely wait. We highly recommend. Bon appetito #pizzolato #anthonybourdain
It's more of a 4.5/5. Nice, cozy and intimate restaurant. An older crowd. Food was good. Came with 2 other friends, had an app, dinner and dessert. What me over is the service. Probably the best service I've ever gotten from a restaurant. I would honestly go back for the service over the food lol even tho the food was exceptional and decently priced
We had our wedding anniversary with family at Evoo. Great atmosphere, food and service were amazing. Highly recommend !
Amazing Italian cuisine that is extremely tasty, filling, and authentic. The portion sizes are very substantial, and there is an extensive menu from which to choose different entrées. What blew me away was the ambiance and high quality of friendly, professional, and jovial service - the staff were a real pleasure to spend the evening with, and created a fun experience for our entire birthday group while attending to our requests and inquiries. Definitely plan on returning, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the mood for some delicious Italian food and good laughs!
