Always a friendly hello when you walk in the door. Salad ingredients are fresh and delicious every time. I'll overlook the whole chopsticks for take-out due to everything else about this place being fantastic.
I think that remark I made about the chopsticks earlier, is mainly due to my own chopstick insecurities. So yeah, that's probably more of a me issue I suppose.
You can place an order for pick up online. Or place an order when you get there and not have to wait very long for them to throw it all together.
This establishment is going to be around for a long time. Just from my perspective as a repeat customer, whenever I am in Rebel Salad, they are constantly preparing online and in person orders.

I love the set up of the store and how you order. Price is fair and I love the fact that the ingredients are fresh and local. My broccoli wasn't marinated which made me a little sad, and the rice was half cooked. Otherwise it's really yummy and a very health conscious choice that doesn't leave you hungry.
Great place to stop in if you're in the mood for a big, filling salad and tons of variety possible with their salad customizing system. We will always visit when we're in Thunder Bay.

They have a great selection of DIY salads with local ingredients. My favourite items are the croutons and the marinated mushrooms.
The value is great too as for about $15 you can get a pretty large salad that will fill you up and make you feel great. I also love all the options as you can never get bored of their food.
Their salads are great no question but they are bit pricey. You have to choose the toppings, veggies, dressing on your own too unlike growing season. The veggies and meat that you add are good but their portions were too small compared to the huge bed of Kale that I got underneath which was way too much.
Food is absolutely fantastic. Best salad I've ever had!
