Was disappointed with the chicken at the Barcelos at Market Crossing in Burnaby, but this location was a pleasant surprise. The food is comparable to Nando's but here, the roasted veggies are better: not drowning in sauce and over abundance of onions as the main vegetable. The location is clean, and the service is friendly and prompt.
Nando's alternative. Juicer chicken. Milder periperi sauce. Friendly staff. Dine-in, takeout available. Storefront parking, but signage poles protrude toward the parking space, and can scratch car.
I ate here earlier for a late lunch today and had a great experience. It was my first time eating in here and my 2nd time eating Barcelos chicken. My first experience eating it wasn't so good and thought the food was not tasty. This location changed my mind and really liked the great service from the girl working the cashier. She was helpful and quick. Even when it got busy she was still able to be consistent with her service. Anyways, look forward to eating here again someday.
Fine folks of South Surrey, sadly this location did not survive the pandemic and has permanently closed. I submitted an edit to Google to avoid people showing up for no reason, including a photo that clearly shows the "for lease" sign but apparently that's not enough evidence. If you land up here only to be disappointed, try one of the other lovely restaurants nearby.
The people that ran this place were great, the food was always great. We will miss them

We had the most delicious Fiesta chicken with salad and rice meal! The food was fast, fresh and tasty. We needed curbside pick up and they were so accommodating, and it just made it a dream. I would WAY rather eat here than any other “fast food” around. Highly recommended!
These guys are awesome, I'm so impressed with the speed and accuracy when filling orders. I've called in take-out orders and been quoted 10-15 minutes, and the food's been ready before I get there. I hope they keep up the great service! (And the food is delicious!)
