The donuts and tidbits were excellent. Timmy’s always delivers when it comes to sweet donuts and affordable lunches. The kids love coming here.
Timmy Ho's fascinates my kid. My daughter is not even 22 years old at the time I'm writing this. She's traveled all over the world -- multiple cities in China and Tibet, visited India, flew to stay with us twice in Australia, been to the Bahamas, Dominica, Canada several times... She's eaten all sorts of exotic food.
So it's hard for me to believe that when she came to stay with us for a week in Vancouver, one of her biggest food goals was to go to TIM FRICKIN HORTON'S! To her, Timmy Ho's represents Canada. I guess it's ironic to a young American. She insisted on bringing back a 1-lb. can of Timmay's coffee and a chocolate doughnut to her boyfriend in Florida. It was three days old by the time she got back (we had gone on a side trip through Washington State before she flew out of Seattle) but she still HAD to do it. So thank you to this Tim Horton's for being the closest one to the U.S. border. That meant the doughnut was ever-so-slightly less stale than it would have been if she picked it up someplace else.
Got to love my double doubles. Tim Horton seems to be getting a lot more items as well on their menu, which has been great. But for me it's their coffee that keeps me coming back. And maybe their farmers wrap, and their sausage egg biscuit.
