The Golden Metal has been our go to Chinese food place for over 15 years.  We have never had a bad experience.  We like the owners and the service.  If you want to save time, phone ahead and find out when it will be ready.  Very good value for the money.

Fake bad reviews by other Chinese Restaurants to promote their own.. Well this is pretty low and sad way to compete.

I looked at a couple of the reviews as feed back and I noticed the really bad ones were created to trash one store and promote another on the very same day the account was created - yes I am talking to you Silver Dragon with the alias Briang.

Stop the cheap tactics. It is lame.

It is too bad I can't trust online reviews anymore because they are rigged. It was always nice to see what was good at the store.

Very impressed! They accommodated my subs very kindly and generously! The food was hot, fresh, delicious and arrived early! The driver was very polite and friendly! Excellent dining experience and my new fav for Chinese cuisine.

Best Chinese restaurant in Cloverdale! Have been going there for many years and the menu is very very good. My go-to Chinese place. Dining in is usually very quiet as most people order for delivery or takeout.

Great variety of dishes. The food is not greasy, had good "wok hei" and I like that they have their own delivery that's not just skip the dishes. I ordered the beef and veg stir fried rice noodles, the Buddha's feast and the cashew chicken. I would return for sure! Nice to have a selection of actual Chinese food, not just Chinese Canadian stuff

This place is good. Worth a try. (May 9 2022). The food is good, the service is EXCELLENT. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced ever. Minor issue with an order, it was corrected with sincere apologies and free soda. Above and beyond for sure! Definitely earning repeat customers.

My husband and I are new regulars and the food is wonderful. Tonight was especially good, so my thanks to the awesome chef. The prices are reasonable and you get great portions. This is my go to chinese take out place! Edit: One Year Later and the food is still out of this world! The dumplings tonight were outrageously good. My favorite restaurant in BC!
