I’ve used Marini’s a number of different times for big events. Their lasagna is delicious! The meats and cheese plates are perfect and the deli platter is overflowing. All very excellent quality in my opinion. Thank you for everything Marini’s!
Stopped in today and very pleased with all the quality and quantity. Purchsed some meat products and ordered a delish coffee and pastry and relaxed on your nice outdoor patio. <3 Will be back again soon..
The establishment closes at 5:30, Every business needs a cut off time for food prep so they can start cleaning up for the night. As a long time customer I know for a fact that they don't have any men on staff so I truly believe you are mistaking this establishment for another one. that and the doors are locked at 5:30. To expect a sandwich, from a male that doesn't work there after they have been closed for 9 minutes is crazy. There is a reason I have been a repeat customer for so many years. Great food, Friendly staff (hi Anne) and great customer service. I will be visiting many more times for my weekly sandwich when they are OPEN... all the best and keep doing what your doing ladies.
Marini’s has great staff, and everything Italian I could ask for. The owner and staff are experienced in guiding you through a bewildering variety of oils and vinegars as well as cheeses and many flavors of cold meat. They import some of their more exotic stuff, so it is a bit pricey, if you are comparing to COSTCO, but for oils and vinegars that will be exposed under the bright lights of your salads they are worth the cost.
In response to the previous review about the sandwiches I'd just like to point out that I've ordered sandwiches here on numerous occasions with no problem. Perhaps the reason why you weren't able to get a sandwich made for you at 539 is the fact that this establishment closes at 530.
I love this little market. Lots of interesting little tidbits, and a well stocked and delicious deli. I order my italian sausages from them all the time, and buy these cute little soup raviolis.
My Nonna is getting too old to cook now (which is sad because she was amazing.) So when Christmas rolled around I bought her and my Nonno a frozen lasagne from here and some salami and cheese, and they loved it. Lasagne can't get a much higher review than Nonna approved!
Amazing little shop, please if you are in the area check them out, you will be glad you did.
I was happy to see they have four different options for tipo 00 flour. Three cheers for important specialty stores like Marini's. The big stores hadn't even heard of tipo 00. That was my first visit and I will definitely be back!
