I have nothing but great experience in this place. We come here mainly for the Korean dishes.
The food is tasty and reasonably priced for the portions. The service is always warm and friendly. Although there is a longer wait than usual for the food, it always comes out hot and delicious. We particularly like the chicken dishes to be shared since they're cheap for the huge amount of chicken you're gonna get.
Sunny Dragon is great, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for good, cheap, and tasty meal.

The food here is quite good for the price. You won't be able to find anything better for the price they offer. The service could use some work though, it's a big restaurant and during rush hour, it can take a while before the food hits your table. I haven't been blown away by their food, but the black bean noodles are an honourable mention. Make sure to give them a try if you find yourself at Sunny Dragon. Oh, and the crazy roll here is the go to order for my friends and I. It is a must eat and I will definitely be having some soon!
Nice Japanese Korean cuisine restaurant. The restaurant is korean owned so it has a lot of korean dishes however they do offer sushi. The sushi is pretty mediocre but the korean food is what you should try, the ttangsooyuk is crispy, sweet and salty and the food tastes fresh and full of flavor. Service is nice and they are quite attentive.
This restaurant is one of the best Korean Japanese fusion I have ever encountered. First of all they have warm atmosphere, great service, and most importantly tasty food. In general, presentation and quality is extremely satisfying compared to the price and the food speaks everything for it self. This restaurant is highly recommended and I would definitely visit again in the future.

My family recently dined here and was pleasantly surprised. I'm pretty sure that I have passed by this restaurant 100 times before actually trying it out because there was nothing about the restaurant that made me want to go. But it was recommended by my coworker so I decided to give it a try.
We went during dinner time just before the rush and was seated promptly. We ordered 4 items: Noodles with black bean sauce, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour pork and a dish that had bamboo shoots, bell peppers, shrimp and pork slices and was served with four white steamed buns. Everything was steaming hot when it got to the table. The noodles with black bean sauce was delicious! There were lots of vegetable and meat pieces incorporated with the sauce. It was very saucy but I like it that way. The chicken fried rice was nothing to rave about - it felt like it was missing something like seasoning. The sweet and sour pork was the best I've ever had. It is deep fried pieces of breaded pork with the sauce poured over so that the pork stayed crispy but obviously it will get soggy if you wait too long to eat it. Last but not least was the vegtable and pork dish. It was very good - I'm not too sure what it was suppoe to taste like because I've never had anything like it before. It had a hint of spice to it. But it wasn't overwhelming. They also serve sushi but we did not get to try it. Maybe next time.
If you are looking for great service then this is not your place to be. You get very little to nil. If you don't mind that and want to eat delicious food then this is the place to be. In my opinion this is a child appropriate restaurant if you don't have picky eaters. My daughter loved the food here - she isn't picky. They also have high chairs to accommodate the little ones.
I was hesitant to try this place out as i havent heard raving reviews. I ordered the cruncy california roll. On special it only cost 4.50. I also ordered the assorted tempura for 5.50 with a miso soup. Definitely a better deal than other sushi places. They hit the spot on portion and presentation was good. Excellent friendly service as well. The batter and oil was a just a tiny bit thicker than i preferred. But still very satisfied. Id go back to try other items.
If you've never had Chinese style Korean food, you're missing out. These are sold everywhere in Korea and they also deliver everywhere on their motorbikes. You will easily find a place that will deliver right to your doors, and also pick up the dishes afterwards. It is inexpensive to order them in Korea but in Vancouver, it's like going to an average restaurant.
Takoyaki. Was here recently for my first visit and I was thoroughly impressed, with both the food and service. I'm not normally a fan of fish, as I don't particularly like paying big money for small dishes, but the food was absolutely delicious, filling
they added more reduced price dishes recently so I tryed takoyaki and salmon belly bbq and its was amzing especially the sauce :)
we usually go with roll and tempura but next time we'll give a try for something different Well Done!!

I love their special roll! Its a deep friend roll with this amazing sauce. Each time we go here we would order 2 each for 8 of us - no joke!!!

I haven’t been here for years so I spent the past 9 years looking for the same flavour of their crazy roll across the lower mainland, but none taste the same as this one! Everything we ordered was really good, of course my top pick was the crazy roll. Something about that sauce they have on there…
My favourite local family owned Korean/Japanese restaurant. Very affordable, the portion sizes are perfect, and quality food that tastes great! My personal favourite dishes are the crazy roll, sweet and spicy chicken, and their black bean noodles. The staff at Sunny have always been super kind and welcoming, which honestly makes dining in or taking out a wonderful experience. 10/10

Great food and atmosphere! Always clean. We normally get takeout from this restaurant and every time it’s tasty. We like to mix up whether it’s Chinese, Korean or Japanese but you can’t go wrong. The jjangmeon is so good!
Ordered chicken teriyaki, spicy salmon roll, salmon roll, and chicken katsuyama. Everything is delicious!
Both Japanese and Korean menus are good. Definitely try the Korean Fried Chicken (sweet and spicy) the crispy skin is next level and sauce leave you wanting more. The sushi and tempura are delicious! I will be coming back again 😃
