Our absolute favourite neighbourhood restaurant - great food, wonderful servers and long time family owners that make you feel valued and comfortable. BEST pizza in town and all traditional Greek dishes and pasta always delicious. We always know what we’ll get - great food, service, fun and a completely decent bill!
The Greek style food was delicious and definitely met my expectations of authentic Greek food. Upon reviewing the menu I noticed some of the prices were high - However the friendly waitress pointed out they had specials on for $15. I would recommend this place if you go for their daily specials as the food was very good and the price was right for the portion sizes given. In addition, the inside of the restaurant was very clean and holiday themed (Christmas) during my visit.
I would recommend this place for couples seeking a quieter Greek food restaurant over candlelight dinner (No loud music or Belly Dancing).
Great Greek food. We were visiting the area this past weekend and were looking for a different place to try. Royal Oak wasn't too far from our hotel, and wasn't booked up solid, with some favorable reviews so we thought to give it a shot. We were glad we did.
The food was great, atmosphere nice, servers friendly. I love calamari and souvlaki so was very happy to see the combo being offered, and it was all done to perfection, fresh tzatziki was excellent. Responses from the rest of my family were all similar.
Any time I find myself in a proper Greek restaurant I must cram in a piece of bahklava for dessert, as I did this evening. Fresh, sweet, tasty.
My wife had a problem with one drink but they quickly offered to replace it. When she declined the server took it off the bill immediately. No fuss, no muss.
If I lived in the city, Royal Oak would soon be a regular go-to for us.
I only get lasagna or pizza w/caesar salad I haven't been dissapointed plus friendly polite service

Royal Oak Greatness. Every time I go to the Oak there is always great people, great food and a great atmosphere. It is one of my favorite restaurants. The portions are huge, so you get a great value for your money. The food is sooo good! I would definitely recommend the Oak to anybody who has not yet tried it. You will not be disappointed!
Try the roast lamb. I have been to the Royal Oak two times now, and I love it. As you may have guessed I really like their roast lamb. There was way more food than I could possibly eat. The inside in nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly. Normally, I don't eat at restaurants of this price point ($15 to $25 a meal) but for the quality and quantity of the food you get it is great deal. They do have some cheaper things on the menu (pizza & pasta) but what can I say; I love the lamb.
Give the Royal Oak a try; I don't think that you will be disappointed

Very much enjoyable dinner last night here at the Royal Oak Restaurant. The service was awesome, with our service being super nice and friendly, along with delicious food.
We had a few appetizers and either the calamari or sautéed mushrooms being the best. Freshly friend calamari was tender and crispy batter. Mushrooms were also tender and has a ton of bite to them, a lot of flavor as well.
We also had the garlic prawn appy which was not too bad. Prawns were decently flavoured and tender too. I think the pita bread could definitely be improved. Might come down to preferences but, would rather have a soft pita bread. Pita bread also did not seem as fresh as other items.
Mains were awesome. Had the roast lamb (can't really go wrong here). Fall of the bone tender and tons of flavor from all the spices. The dish came with rich, salad and roast potatoes. Fairly large portion.
I thunk the fav would have to be the chocolate torte for dessert. Loved the sponge cake here along with the chocolate sauce all over. The cake base was just the perfect level of spongy-ness for me and was also not overly too sweet. Loved it.
We also tried their baklava which was pretty good. Generally not my kind if dessert tho.
Great food. Comfy seating. Service was ok. Our server didn't come back with coffee she forgot ! We waited like 20 mins and had to ask for it again.

Food was ordered over the phone, and was ready for pickup at the agreed upon time. Everything was hot and fresh (or cold where applicable, like salads).
Prices are good, and the portions are generous. The food is well cooked. The lamb shoulder was excellent - moist and well prepared. Tzatziki is great, and the pita was nice and fluffy.
The place was busy inside, seemed to have a nice neighborhood pub vibe to it, with folks having a drink and watching the game when I stopped in to pickup the order.
Definitely recommended if you're looking for good Greek food in the Fleetwood area.
This place is a staple in surrey. Been going here since I was a wee lass. It's got great friendly service. The food is delicious and portions are huge. It's definitely a when you come here you are family.
