Great food. Fresh homemade goods. Decent prices, Doesn’t look like much from the outside so it’s easy to miss it! But if you are in the area craving something authentic and exotic. This is the place!

There are a few Mexican restaurants in the White Rock area now, but this is hands down the best. The food is always so good and fresh, their habanero sauce is amazing. The family that runs it is so friendly, and the owner is always so personable. Love this place!
Decent food, mid reno, made to order, homemade style mexican. Appears family operated. Guacamole and various sauces needed some improvment. Food it's self was decent quality but they need to study other more successful mexican restaurant and sauce recipes.
Best in the Lower Mainland. In trying Mexican restaurants in Vancouver, none quite stack up. If you live in the city and crave REAL, authentic food that Donald Trump may ban from America, this place is worth the trip. When you walk in, you may think you came to the wrong place, but just trust me. Appearances can be very deceiving. Looks like a cafeteria inside, but it's 3 or 4 Mexican ladies (and occasionally a cross eyed kid who does his best) working like crazy to deliver fresh, legit food. Everything made from scratch. Amazing!

We had chips and salsa to start. I'm pretty sure they made their own chips as they were quite thick and crispy. It came with their own in-house salsa. The salsa was good but a bit watery.
My husband and I both ordered the chipotle chicken enchiladas. Very good. Full of flavour. It came with a side of beans and rice. I typically leave the beans but these were very tasty. We added a little hot sauce (also made in-house) to give it a kick. My husband ordered the tamarind water and I ordered cucumber with lemon water. So good! And the beverages really complemented the food. They also have rice water and hibiscus tea. Everything we ordered was delicious and hit the spot.
The only drawback to this place is that it takes a while to get your order. For a "fast food" place, we waited about 15 to 20 minutes. To be fair, a family of five ordered just before us.
Even though this is a bit of a drive for us (about 30 minutes) we'll definitely be frequently this place more often.
Excellent Mexican food! It's been a while since our last Mexican meal. The beef Chimichanga was melting in my mouth. The used pastry was so delicious. It came with mashed beans like a puree, rice and a tasty salad. The 3 tacos we had came with pulled pork/ chicken, onion, guacamole and cilantro. Even they were delicious, but not the best tacos we had (the best one had 17 ingredients).
Very tasty enchiladas. You get three and are allowed to mix and match each flavor so I was able to try the chicken, beef, and pork. Standard rice and refried beans. Salad had tasty guacamole and salsa. The hot sauce was the best part, garlicky and spicy and made from scratch. Quite refreshing. They serve Mexican coca-cola made with sugar cane which is pretty cool.
Top notch Mexican cuisine, flavors and seasoning on everything is on point, excellent portions, super affordable, sweet staff and owners. The only thing I wish I could order would be Churros and Icecream. 5 Stars all around. Highly recommend.
Food is so delicious yet the host is nicer! And…with a reasonable price too! A definite cozy place to dine in when you are in town! Will come back for sure;)
Fresh tasting food (everything on the menu) I ate the enchiladas and chicken tacos. Both had good flavor. Ask for the house hot sauce, it's got a little kick to it!
The atmosphere is authentic and takes you to Mexico. The staff are friendly and the owner will take time out of his busy day to say hello which made the whole experience great. Order a Mexican Coca Cola as it tastes way better than the North American version.
The best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The flavours were so good and on point. We had the enchiladas with one of each meat. Chicken, beef and pork. They were all cooked beautifully. The beef was tender, the pork and chicken had nice texture. Even the rice and beans were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered a horchata made in house and it was tasty without being too sweet. Jose is very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to.come back to try the other dishes.
I have been living in the White Rock area for my whole life, and I only recently discovered Ay Chihuahua. I have to say, I originally went here because Primo’s at the beach always seems to be closed whenever I try to go. That being said, boy am I glad that I came! Their menu has lots of options and I eventually decided to try the enchiladas. Wow- were they delicious! The portion size was perfect and the price was fair. My only complaint would be that the food was a tad salty. Overall I would recommend this restaurant whenever you’re craving some delicious Mexican cuisine!
