This area of South Surrey is booming with new restaurants, Kin Thai has been around for just over a year and I just got around to trying it. I don’t get a chance to try a lot of Thai food so it’s a bit difficult to put the meal into context. The cozy interior has a dark palette with spacious seating, more comfortable then the Southeast Asian places I’m used to. Given the neighbourhood, the prices are a bit on the higher side but they do offer a lunch menu which has meals for around $13 which include rice and a spring roll.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the decor pleasant. Food was delicious and fast! Will definitely go back and recommend friends.
Tried the red curry ! Bamboo shoots were crisp and prawns were well presented. I like places that debone their prawns. Also tried their crispy noodle dish which just kept getting better with every bite. I recommend it if you like spice and flavor
Really fresh food. Lots of flavor in the curries and lots of choices. Service was on point . We tried the pad Thai and green curry can't wait to try different dishes next time. Beautiful and modern and clean restaurant. I would recommend making reservations on weekends.
Excellent food. All three of us were very happy. Spiciness levels were right on expectations. Flavours were well balanced. Service was friendly, attentive and informative. Ambiance was vibrant, decor was modern and tasteful and interior well maintained.

Our favorite Thai restaurant in south surrey. Highly recommend. Service can be slow at times but well worth the wait. Lots of fresh veggies & food comes out steaming hot. Yum yum!
Oh my goodness, best Thai food I've ever had! The veggies where fresh and crunchy, I like the option of choosing your spicyness. 😊 The food was delicious, the flavor of the food was so good!
The atmosphere was great, staff where friendly, the prices where good too!

The dishes I had were;
- Gaeng Kari (yellow curry) with chicken.
- Pad See Lew (beef)
- Pad Prew Waan (chicken)
Enjoyed a wonderful experience. Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere, good value and great service. So nice to have a quality restaurant in the neighbourhood.
Nice to have a new restaurant in the neighbourhood. Good flavours for the mains, portion size was decent, spring rolls were nothing to write home about. Service was ok, will go back to try out some of the other items.
Doesn't seem like authentic thai to me (but what do I know) but I’m really glad a decent thai restaurant is in the neighbourhood.
- Green Curry - I thought it was weird to see a layer of spicy chili oil and green beans in the green curry but it still tasted pretty good. The consistency is runnier than what I'm used to. Their curries can be really spicy if you ask for level 5 spiciness.
- Pad Thai - I wish their pad thai has a bit more flavour. It reminds me of Pink Elephant's pad thai.
- Wings done Thai Style - Nothing too special there, just wings.
- Tom Yum - Very tangy, I love it.
Wait time for the food can get long whether its dine-in or take-out. Price is not cheap and rice costs additional. Nevertheless, I'm still very happy Kin Thai opened up in South Surrey.
This was my first time at Kin Thai Kitchen.
I was extremely happy with my experience. My daughter and I went there tonight, and not only was the staff and owner extremely kind and hospitable, the food was awesome too.
We had the yellow curry dish with shrimp. It was a delicious curry sauce with coconut milk and pineapple. And the pieces of potato tasted like so buttery.
This was probably the best curry I've ever had at a Thai restaurant.
I strongly recommend this place!

I tried this place on a whim with my partner. He loves Thai food, and I am not generally a fan. This make me a Thai food lover! We've ordered from there several times, and our waitress was absolutely fantastic when we decided to eat in. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely delicious!
