Review A&w Restaurant - Surrey

Hands down one of the better A&Ws which is saying a lot as the company, as a whole, seems to be targeting the higher-end fast food spectrum (the prices are also up there). This location was clean, managed well, with timely service, although some of the employees appeared to be new and only just getting used to the systems in place. They still managed to coordinate drive thru and walkins somewhat gracefully. The food itself was commendable as the burger was nicely made, structured well, but definitely overloaded with lettuce which is a cheap and insolent approach to burgers given the price. The sides are definitely a negative of A&Ws' as the fries get stale remarkably fast, have little crunch to them, and are not satisfying. For over three dollars for a small portion, it's yet another downside despite their better-than-average mains. I'll keep coming back to this location during promotions but won't frequent due to the quality of product until it's elevated across the board.

Stopped in and ordered 2 sausage and egger combos. I asked for them to be triple toasted. They some how heard sausage and chedder and didn't give a second hashbrown. I included what is pretty much raw english muffin pictures to show how bad this order was messed up. Person tried to verify my order by talking into the top of the glass of the drive through window where I couldn't hear half of what they were saying. Will not be getting breakfast from this location again. Normally a great location to go too so must be either new staff or something.

Everytime i order online, i get the best food from this location. First time visiting in person.. Customer service ruined by one person, So Rude and stubborn. Didnt even get the exact food i ordered. It’s true that One dirty fish spoils the whole pond.!!

Best fast food restaurant I’ve ever visited, and I might have to say this place is one of the top restaurants I visited up until now (I’m still so confused if I went to high-end restaurant or just fast food restaurant) Walked in, Cori at the counter welcomed us with smile. Restaurant felt unusually cosy (perhaps because of the vase on each table..? :) ) Cori made sure we have unforgettable customer service. She indeed provided genuine services. Thankfully it wasn’t just her but order came with satisfactory quality. Burger was made with great balance between veggies, meat, sauce. People who work here have fabulous teamwork like family-a-like. They smile each other and casually check all the customers in the restaurant. I don’t think I’ve ever visited such fast food restaurant like this friendly, and with this quality food. Let’s not forget the cleanliness of this restaurant. I don’t have to say anything - this place is clean from edge to edge. Would really like to say thank you to Cori. She really nailed on her role and seriously went above & beyond (and possible beyond of beyond!) Will definitely come back again!

Their always polite Breakfast Has a real Plate, Cup & Metal Cutlery for inside dining not like other A&W location which only use paper products.

One of the worse A&W location. I always go to Scott Road but few time i have been to this location and always regretted. I was charged extra for 1 sauce which always comes with the fries i still didnt mind paying extra and asked for food to be fresh. I am not exaggerating when i say i waited 25min in the parking lot for my food which was already cold when the girl gave me. I was running late so i grabbed my food and left only to find put the sauce i was charged extra was not included. I spoke to the manager and she was so rude and accused me of lying when her own employee corrected her that no she was accidentally charged extra. Still she kept yelling and screaming at me for a $ when i kept telling her it is not about the money she can keep my dollar if that makes her feel rich but its the customer service

Visited the restaurant for quike bite and tried their chicken burger. It was really good in taste and preparation. We used their drive thru so can not comment upon store condition. Staff was friendly. Deducting 1 star because of time taken in serving the order. Which was on higher side as compared to mcd or some other restaurants.

Some genius at A&W decided it was a good idea to charge 25 cents for a bag even if you are going through the drive through. Of course you need a bag going through the drive through. Don't be be stupid. But charging for a (nearly) mandatory bag is ao make up for higher inflation rates. All it does is make mewant to take my business elsewhere. So that's what I'm going to do. A&W will never see me again as long as they charge for paper bags. Great business decision guys.

I take my son there every Sunday. The staff is unbelievably fantastic.AnW is good no matter which location you go to but the staff at this one take it to the next level. The very reason I keep going back to this location. 👍

This location has the best customer service among any restaurant business in Canada I’ve ever been. Not joking. Every single employee is trained very well and they are creating great atmosphere. Whoever’s running this location, you guys are doing amazing job !!!!!

The service in this A and W was awesome!! We have never, ever been to a fast food restaurant with this type of service. All the staff are super friendly. We don't live in the area but will continue to return when ever possible!

The A&W near by Newton has excellent service. The Manager and crew treat you well with the very best in table service..

Tiffany is SUPER amazing!! We come back for the amazing service and welcoming atmosphere the staff provides. With the office so close this is our official lunch spot.

We will miss Tiffany on Sundays that we go there. Staffs are great but she is the BEST. Food is great and realkyvcheap with the coupon. Our Sunday after church tradition.

TODAY I SENT BACK BURNT TOAST. IT WAS REPLACED WITH MORE BURNT TOAST. I ENDED UP NOT EATING MY TOAST. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. ALSO, THERE WAS BLOOD UP THE BACK OF THE DOOR IN THE BATHROOM STALL. I THINK I AM GOING TO GET AIDS FROM WHATEVER DRUG USER LEFT IT THERE

The cashier was so sneaky. I ordered a beyond meet burger combo with a coupon. It took her a long time to study the coupon. Then she asked me whether I wanted cheese for the burger, and I said yes. Then, I also asked for orange juice instead of root beer. The total cost was $11! The coupon shows $8.49 for a combo. Why didn't she tell me the extra cost for cheese. No one would drink a large OJ. She was so sneaky. They are probably notorious for their sneakiness. Avoid this place!

Years ago I picked up an order at this location and haven’t been back since. Today I was blown away by how organized staff were and by the obvious increase in popularity. Every seat was filled by regular patrons who all seemed quite content. My to go order was promptly delivered and was perfect. I would absolutely return to this location if in the area.

The customer service at this location is extraordinary! I have been here about 10 times the past 3 months (pickup), and have always noted the courtesy and friendliness displayed by the staff. Last morning we decided to sit down for breakfast, and were not disappointed. My wife's comment sums it up, 'A fast food place, with better service than any restaurant!'

I truly don't spend much time in fast food restaurants these days but every so often you get that craving I guess. I had to have my childhood favorite - A&W root beer. The food is fast food but decent and this particular location treats you with such friendliness and attention that you almost forget that you are in a fast food Resto. Worth a stop for those rare fast food moments- the staff is truly and sincerely the best!

Wonderful Staff Not So Wonderful Food. Gave this place 3 separate attempts. Really wanted to like the food because the staff was so amazing. However, Onion rings had little batter, fries were limp and mushy. We also asked for extra mustard on burgers each time and got very little instead.<br/>Used to love A&W too.

Good food, exceptional service!. I visited this A&W with family this weekend and was blown away by how courteous the staff were. One staff member greeted us at the door, they were very friendly while ordering and then came to check on us several times while we were eating. Then before we left, one staff member Tiffany came by to offer us treats (mints or lollipops) and moist towelettes. The food was good too!

Senior friendly. I visited this A&W for about the 4th time and every time they are so pleasant. The food is hot and never any issues. The attention that is given is fantastic. We live a little ways away from this area but we have no problem going the extra little way in order to eat here.
