We were out bicycling around St.Johns today, and stopped in the cafe for a drink and something to eat. We had tea , coffee, and squares(date & brownies) . They were great. I visited The Battery Cafe because their website said they always have gluten free options (just ask!) and I am gluten intolorant. I had a delicious chicken and pesto sandwich on gluten free bread as well as a tasty latte. Ate outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the Harbour. Would go back
I had a delicious Lavender Americano Misto on recommendation by one of the lovely staff members. It went well with my Partridge Berry White Chocolate Scone. This will definitely be a go to place when I visit St John's!

We stopped in after touring Signal Hill. A band was warming up in the back room the windows were open with views of Jellybean row houses and the staff were super friendly. Great coffee, good snacks, well stocked coolers. Visit the park across the street.
Had a vanilla latte with oat-milk and it was delicious! Also had a sourdough grilled-cheese which was a tad expensive given the size but was tasty as well. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty, quick option!
