Coffee Matters - St. John's - Photo album

We went here twice and enjoyed the recovery lunch special. Small plate with a delicious sandwich and soup, a cookie and coffee. Very nice atmosphere and music, good food and service. A pleasant place to enjoy good food and some internet.
Long story short, I ordered a couple plant based cookies under the impression they were vegan and mentioned my egg allergy. Two minutes later I was puking in the bathroom. Longer read: It was a totally valid mistake for the product to somehow contain eggs - these are things outside of our control.
Stopped by to take some coffee as I was craving for good cup of coffee. Was totally disappointed with my cappuccino. Probably I am spoilt by European culture of coffee because what I got was not cappuccino at all. Staff was friendly and place looks nice but coffee was really bad.
Very friendly staff, nice environment with a good view, coffee was great as well as the bakery item I had.
The food is quite tasty. There's healthy options as well as treats for if you're in the mood. The customer service is more or less great - nothing to complain about - and there's an atmosphere perfect for both casual interaction as well as studying/work. All in all, great place!
The best place to study. If you live downtown St. John’s this is a great place to frequent. Good coffee good food, great space.
Reasonable prices, pleasant staff. Latte ready in no time and quite good, recommend the date square. Close to a lot of hotels in the area. Would be nice to have outdoor seating in the summer.
The medium roast is top notch! The Middle Tickle (100% Arabica Coffee whole bean) is the one to take for home brewing!
