We were very impressed with this restaurant! We got to eat outside in heated tents, and even at -12° we were still warm enough, though I would recommend a few extra layers so you are extra comfortable.
The atmosphere inside of the tents is very nice, and the beer is from Block three which I was told is absolutely delicious! There was quite a wide variety of beer as well.
The food was really tasty, and the quality was exceptional, we expected simple bar food but we were blown away by the menu. I highly recommend this place as a restaurant as well as a good place to catch up with friends and family, It is much more than just a place for a quick beer, but I’m sure you could do that as well..
The service was amazing the night that we went to, everyone was very talkative and kind and helpful. All in all this is a must go if you’re in the area!
Maybe the nicest patio in Watetloo Region located on the main street of St Jacobs. Good food and drink. A great place to cycle to from Kitchener Waterloo. Lots to try on the menu. We had fish tacos 🌮 which were delicious. Highly recommend this place
I was here with my friends on Thursday for my birthday. I loved the dome aesthetic. The food was good as well. I had the chicken curry and it was surprisingly pleasant. They had a lovely selection of drinks. The dome seats 8 people and it was heated. That was my only concern for my guests. You do need to book the domes ahead but I believe they will soon be out of season as winter is ending. Our server was also a really sweet guy.
Really great pub food. We had the charcuterie board and nachos to start and then the fish tacos, the jerk chicken and schnitzel. And beer of course! Domes are fun to hang out in and eat with friends. They each have a propane heater but come dressed warmly in layers just the same!
Went for lunch with some friends. Hostess was very friendly, quickly asked to see vaccine status and sat us at our table. Even though it was chilly out the bubble was really nice and warm because of the propane heater. Water already at the table and our waitress was quick to take drink orders. Got a charcuterie board, nice spread of meats and cheeses and delicious sauces. Ordered the Jakobstettel Schnitzel myself, a large portioned cutlet with lots of cabbage slaw and crispy fries. A great first time experience, would go again!
The Biergarten is a fun and light night out. We will pop by for a drink and some pizza whenever we want to sit on a patio. It’s large and well set up and a great way to spend an evening.
The wife and I loved it. The outdoor ambiance was great. The staff were very friendly and willing to please. They would check periodically to ensure we were enjoying our meal. The lunch menu is somewhat limited but this is a beer garden and a beer garden it is. Great selection great beers.. We plan to return and we have no hesitation in recommending the Village Biergarten. Bring your friends and have a great time
