I never ever post comments online, this is literally the first but after my experience at this gem I had to. My husband and I were in this area for hot air balloon when we bumped into Kara's Cafe. The owner was amazing,extremely kind and friendly. Everything is fresh and organic, they use local produce to make everything and you can literally taste the difference. We bought coffee, smoothie, honey, local produce and of course sampled the butter chicken. Please look them up if you are ever in the area, the owner will take care of you with his amazing service.
Amazing food. Amazing people. It smells so nice in that cafe.
They also buy, use, and sell local produce and items from the farms legitimately surrounding them. They also use A2 Milk. Dont drink milk? They have oat milk, almond, soy.
The $10 burger and fry combo was magical! So yummy. They used pork ans beef in the burger and there was caramelized onions in the fries!
They were COVID19 cautious and also have advance or online ordering.
Farm fresh breakfasts and lunches. Very friendly service and an out of the way country gem overlooking farmers fields. I visited when in town for a trade show and wish I lived in St Jacob so I could visit this place more often.
This place is AWESOME!! I had a croissant sandwich. The croissant was freshly baked and crispy on the outside. Everything is homemade. They have soups salads burgers incredible sandwiches. A good little cafe/market. Family run. Super friendly. Fresh made smoothies and fancy coffees. Homemade giant cookies. Beautiful views! Vegan and vegetarian choices as well!! I’m soooo coming back. 😁😁
I walk past multiple times a week when I go to work and home after. Decided to drop by after work today cause I was curious (and pretty hungry). I had the Billy Burger and the chunky monkey smoothie...
Wow wow wow. That burger is next level! So juicy and flavourful. The salad that comes with it is also fantastic. The smoothie was excellent. The gentleman who served me was super friendly and charming. Made me feel super welcome right away.
Definitely a place I will return to. Gotta check out their breakfast now :-)
Just had the new Billy Burger with a side salad. I have to say this is one of the best burgers I ever had!!!! toppings are fresh and the bun was soft but none of these detract from the start of the show... the patty!!! Such a moist and flavorful burger that hits you every single bite. Truly amazing, will come back for it again soon. Remember to check them out just outside of St Jacobs by the Esso on King St.
Kara's is our favourite place for breakfast or lunch on a Saturday, Gerry is so friendly and welcoming, he truly shows his passion through his interactions and the food served.
Using real ingredients and local produce whenever possible, the food never misses. They also serve some of the best coffee we have ever had. My husband and I are thrilled the pandemic didn't sway their spirits!
If you're looking for amazing food with great atmosphere give them a try, you will not regret it.
Wow!!! I can't believe that little cute cafés still exists. Located in the countryside close to St jacobs Market, this amazing cafe offers great quality coffee, breakfast, lunch, salad 🥗 bar is soooo fresh, eggs straight from the local farms and vegetables and fruits, everything grows locally. I can go on and on but please visit this market and enjoy the food it has to offer. Most importantly the place is family own and the warmth of the smile they greet you it will make you heart ❤ melt.
