Shawarma Bites

Everything I've tries from here has tasted great. My girlfriend and I eat here at least once a week. The pitas are great, the nutella peanut butter wrap is super tasty, even the salads are good! The staff are all really nice and know exactly what we want every time!

Fresh, hot, & delicious!. I was looking for a place to eat supper for the evening and I found this spot on Urbanspoon. First of all let my just say that the food was delicious! That is for those who don't want to read this whole thing, but want to know if it was good or bad. Now I will get to the details. First of all, it wasn't easy to find, but luckily we had a GPS. Even so it is a store-front kind of restaurant and quite small, so keep your eyes peeled to find it! Also, this isn't a sit down, have someone wait on you kind of place. It has about 4 small tables along the wall and a little bar facing out towards the street. It is more of a place to stop in and take out, rather than sit down and have a romantic evening. However if you want good quality food at a very affordable price and aren't really looking for a snooty place, you should eat here. They had a deal going on for any 2 pitas for $9.99. I had a chicken one and my husband had the beef. At the time we were the only two customers but the guy making our food was very friendly and worked just as fast as if he had a whole line of people standing there. The food was fresh and hot. The beef was grilled fresh in front of us and the whole shawarma was grilled again, which made it even better. The veggies were also of good quality and the sauce choices were not few. You get to pick what you want on your shawarma, so no worries about not liking it. We also ordered a side dish of falafel. The shawarma was quite a big portion so by the time we got to the falafel we were pretty stuffed, but we wanted to try them anyways. These were simply ok. A bit too salty for me, but still not bad. I would stick with the shawarma if I were you-you won't be disappointed. Oh and the prices are great if your wallet needs a break! Most shawarma were not more than $5.99. Just a few more things to add in case the staff reads this. Kudos to you guys for being very friendly, and delivering hot, fast, fresh food. If I am ever in the area again, I will drop in and have a shawarma. My only suggestion for the restaurant is to give people who are dining in a plate with their shawarma, they get very messy at the end and we ended up dripping sauce all over the napkins. 2 words: MOUTH WATERING. This is one place that truly amazes me. Each time I go the taste becomes better and better. The flavours are outstanding and while you are waiting for your food to be ready you feel your mouth start to water.
Now to the food, my all time fav dish is their signature "Shawarma Bites". Not only is that dish to die for, they charge a very reasonable price. I believe I paid something like 7 bucks for it. What tops it off is it is not only a great little restaurant, but the welcoming atmosphere and great service is an added bonus. If you have never tasted middle eastern food, or have never heard of a "shawarma" you are missing out!! St. Catharines truly got lucky when this place opened up. I'm constantly eating out and trying to find new places and food around the niagara region....but believe me when I say the surrounding food joints are no match to what this place has to offer.
My only criticism is that there isn't one closer to my house! I await the day where their second one opens...
