Fantastic bar with great food, cold beer, and fair prices. With a wide variety of beers on tap and a huge food menu you would be hard pressed to go here and not find something everyone will enjoy. The Buffalo Chicken Poutine is a revelation in the modern culinary arts. Plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. Can't recommend this place enough!
I’ve been here quite a few times now, and as a vegetarian I really love their tacos!! Their pizza is also really good, I always say that I’m vegetarian and they always accommodate! I also spent Christmas Eve here and it was a party! Definitely recommend.
AMAZING food and even better service. My boyfriend and I went to Monty's for our first date in June 2021 and have decided to make it a yearly tradition on the same day. This year we got the chicken and waffle sandwhich and wings in the garlic Buffalo sauce. Both literally the best food we've had at a restaurant. My boyfriend is still raving about the waffle chicken sandwich 5 days later and my wings were the crispiest most perfectly cooked wings I've had. The garlic Buffalo sauce is a must. We have decided to cancel our reservation at the Lakehouse for our official 1 year anniversary and come back to Montys for that too. Keep up the amazing work!
Ps. Even got the MOST AMAZING desert made for us, fried dough smothered in chocolate sauce and peanut butter. I could've died happy after that.

So, my wife and I run a small Urban Mushroom Farm called Fresh Niagara Mushrooms. We only grow 100-200lbs a week, so we are picky about who we serve. With the website we made since Covid, we get to be even more picky about choosing our restaurant weekly accounts. When Monty's Chef called they were all so excited about our pretty Mushrooms, it was contagious, so we thought we'd give it a try. When a small local pub cares enough about local quality farming to order the same as the high end winery restaurants that we typically serve, that's pretty cool. Any how. 10/10, great staff, great food, great kitchen culture. Looking at the old reviews, this place has really come along way. Give them a try, killer steak subs and the salad was amazing too.
Always a great place. Friendly, courteous staff. Good pricing and atmosphere. Have eaten here a couple times, and quality is always great.
Be sure to come out for Maddie and Turner, the "Top Two on Tuesdays", which is also karaoke night!
Service is always very friendly and timely. Lots of sports on TV and they accommodated my request to tune in a specific game. Chicken wings were delicious and are now among the best in the city. Nice selection of craft beers. Don't need much more than that!
Great local bar and restaurant. Terrific service on their patio. Their nachos are great -- also had the chicken strips which were decent. Very good beer selection as well. Would recommend this place for summer evenings out.
The food i have tried here is absolutely fantastic. Their handcut onion rings...find better...I haven't. They have really kicked it up a notch from the previous owners. Great service too.
The service was fast and friendly. It's a great casual atmosphere and the food was good. Large size cauliflower bites and wings. The Ceasar was delicious.
