It has been a pleasure to meet Annette. There is not anything that I have tried at the restaurant that was not great! Good food, good service in a freindly local establishment... Exceptional fish and ships, fries and many other things. Keep up the good work!
Great place clean and reasonably priced.
Had a mushroom,mozzarella, bacon burger with grilled onions ... and a bowl full of Turkey rice soup ... It was sooo delicious.... and HUGE portions ... Such a great friendly atmosphere also makes the dining experience great every time we go 💜
The poutine was great! Not expensive either! I loved the option of having either mixed cheese or cheese curds, because I prefer mixed. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Elliot Lake.
Great breakfast cooked and served by 3 generations of lovely women!! Good to note, they have gluten-free bread...nice to see!!!
The food and service here were amazing! Bathrooms are clean, staff was friendly, and the food was served quickly. If you’re in the area I highly recommend this place!
Located directly across from Serpent River Campground this diner served up some delicious food. The fish and chips and the seafood platter were amazing and fresh. Delicately battered seafood served with seafood sauce and coleslaw and wonderful French fries. Wraps and fries are available for under $10. Half portions of their main entrees are also available. Excellent variety of food items and reasonably priced. Decor is very simple and nothing fancy but the food makes up for that. A hidden gem in the beautiful north.
We just stopped in for brunch on the way to the Sault, had a great meal, and were very impressed! It was nice and clean with clean bathrooms and all the staff and patrons were wearing masks and with good attention to social distancing.
The food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. Easy to park big trucks or motorhomes and, all around, I would highly recommend it!!
This visit I've ordered hamburger steak with mushrooms and fried onions. I chose mashed potatoes over french fries. Very important. I recommend mashed. $15.95 special of the Day. It was Wednesday afternoon.
Mushrooms were fried to golden perfection. Nice, tangy salty to taste. Just right amount of salt.
Mashed were creamy and smooth in texture. Gravy just right. Great compliment to mashed potatoes.
I've finished off with a piece of Banana Cream Pie. Wow! Yummy.

Fantastic spot, the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. The kitchen was very accommodating with our party of 6, consisting of 1 four year old, 2 gluten free adults, 1 adults with many food allergies such as milk and eggs, and 2 other adults. The food itself was great, cooked just right and not a detail missed. Price was quite affordable and a great deal for the amount of food served per menu item. This is a must stop place if you're in the area!
