Lucky's Snack Bar is the best place to get burgers and poutine on Highway 17.
The staff is fun and makes it an experience you will not forget.

Amazing ice cream. Generous servings for the price. Found Lucky’s a few years ago and come as often as we can. Friendly staff. Great place!

Stopped here for a quick ice cream cone on the way to Elliot Lake. Wow. Ordered double scoops for the wife and I. Should have checked sizes. Single is large, double is ginormous lol. Quick service and decent prices. Will definitely stop in next time we pass by.

Hands down the best poutine I've ever had - the fries were golden and perfectly crispy without any of them being over cooked; the gravy also had an attractive golden colour, tasty without being overly salty; there was a generous amount of squeaky cheese curds not only on top but well mixed in throughout. The only down side is how far it is from home - although, on second thought, that's good for my waistline.

Fantastic roadside burger joint. Fries were awesome. Bacon cheeseburger was solid. Highly recommended.
