Visited from out of province. Service was top notch. Server had great recommendations and was very kind. I appreciated the kids menu very much and their French fries are so crispy and delicious. Big portions for kids menu. I asked for a suggestion on a vegetable dish and the Vegetable Jalfrezi was suggested. In my opinion the flavor was very good and I'm surprised I liked it as much as I did. Butter chicken and chicken curry also had very good flavor and the chicken so tender and moist. Prawn or shrimp korma was so good. Prawns were not overcooked and had a good crunch to them. The naan bread was so fluffy and soft with that little bit of crunch on the outside which made it one of the best naan bread I've had. Great treasure here in Sooke!
The best Indian food we have eaten hands down. We thoroughly enjoyed butter chicken, coconut chicken and lamb biryani with fresh naan bread which was spectacular.
Be warned, the portion sizes are extremely large and could be shared amongst two people, a lesson learned. But hey, who’s complaining!!
The service was really friendly and attentive.
For a week day evening it was busy, which is very telling for a small town eating establishment.

While the the interior isn’t the most decorative the bathrooms and tables/booths were very clean and the whole establishment smelled clean.
Absolutely will return and Sooke has a gem, maybe not hidden any longer.
Delicious food that came out quickly. Fair prices. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had! We ordered the butter chicken, shahi paneer, and tandoori chicken between four of us and still had leftovers. The staff were warm and attentive.
Consistently outstanding! We've eaten here (take out) many times and the dishes are always excellent - great quality, delicious and flavourful, generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Glad that we have such a wonderful Indian restaurant here in Sooke! The owners are very pleasant as well.

One of the best Indian food we’ve had, both dine in and take away.
Tonight we ordered online for the first time and that was fine. The website has beautiful photos of the dishes and it was fairly user friendly.
I’ve seen other restaurants do this with their menu, where there’s a “live” menu where you actually order (click ONLINE ORDER), and then there’s a simple menu which just lists the items, price and a brief description. It is easier to view all of the items in one place here but with no pictures.
The Online Order tab has the items categorized into 14 different categories with stunning photos! After you finalize your order, they instruct you to call to confirm which is great because sometimes the pick up times that the webpage suggests isn’t accurate. It also assures you that your order is indeed in.
Now let’s talk about the food. They specialize in north India and Mughalai cuisine, which originally was prepared for the royalty of great palaces. Absolutely divine.
We had the fish coconut, butter chicken and veg korma, sides of rice, traditional and garlic naan.
We really enjoy the food AND the people that work there are always very kind. Takeout is always pretty quick and efficient 15 -20 minutes. Great options for vegetarians like us which is great. Also credit to them as they are notably hardworking, professional and always serving with smiles and kindness to share. We are happy to support them and enjoy the delicious food they bring to Sooke and neighbouring small communities!

We recently moved from Victoria to Sooke, and one of my worries was having limited take out options. Especially indian options, because I LOVE Indian cuisine.
Little did i know Sooke would have by far the BEST Indian on the island!!
The depth of flavor is phenomenal and the portion sizes are definitely a bonus. I especially recommend the eggplant bharta (an often over options).
Best Indian food i had since so long. Went to the restaurant during my trip that is best decision to dine in here. The food is just amazing .Taste , presentation everything at top. Cherry on the cake was their staff so friendly providing most memorable dining experience. I just loved my visit there that already went there back again on my way back from trip. If i ever get a chance i will definitely visit them again. 110% recommended restaurants if you are looking for fine dinning experience with delicious food :)
I've been a regular diner in Langford, but I recently stumbled upon this local restaurant in Sooke, and it's become my absolute favourite.
The food here is as authentic as it gets, and the portions are impressively generous. The serving personnel are very attentive and friendly, making the overall visit even more enjoyable. Moreover, the prices are very fair.
If you appreciate authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place to go, and I can't recommend it enough.
I recently visited a this place and it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
