Good,quick and well priced. It's my go to for soup and sandwich or for take out to take to the boat.
I also really recommend the homemade pasta Tuesday specials.

The food was great as always as was the service and now the room is fantastic. Can't wait for evenings in the summer.
Love the cooking and prices; not so fussed on the old woman behind the counter - she seems a bit phony.
Good Homemade food at GREAT prices. The food is excellent and the prices are unbelievable. I had lunch the other day - baked salmon with some kind of dill sauce, roast potatoes and green beans - and it was only $7. Nova and Cindy make terrific food and offer it at totally reasonable prices.
The best soup and more. Ty's Bistro is a great stop for lunch. They always have delicious soups and the savoury scones are always a great addition. If you don't feel like cooking, you can also pick up goodies up for dinner. Fresh pasta anyone? Looking forward to summer when the patio is open.
Yum!. Ty's Fine Foods is such a pleasant departure from the mundane fast food and coffee shop fare. Nova's daily soups and lunch specials are always an excitement, and often delivered with a smile when I am too busy to leave work.
Thursday summer nights mean only one thing, pulled pork on the deck at Ty's! So good I could even be convinced to cheat on my re-committed vegetarianism for the odd meal. My current fave and veggie friendly dish is the grilled cheese, as Jesse Waldorf said in a previous post, like no other!
Can't forget Nova and her mom's community spirit. Ty's can be found offering their eats at community events up and down the coast, always a crowd pleaser!
Thanks Goodness!. When I am looking for lunch I am not looking for Burgers and Fries... I dont want to fill myself up on stodgy junk food.

Tys fine Foods is just that place- I can order with framiliarity as the staff (are the owners) consistantly. The food is fresh, flavorful, different from traditional Coast food- I would say Hip ! and not a deep fryer in sight!
I had the pizza last time I was in with a bowl of soup- Flat bread pizza- simple looking but the ingredients were quality. Nice to pick up great items for home- and I hear she will deliver on occasion. Great to find great HIP and Healthy food on the Coast!
So nice to find great food!. My family has been stopping into Ty's Fine Foods in Sechelt for a year and a half. The soups are always wonderful, home made and fresh. The young lady and her Mum who are behind the counter are lovely! They even made my daughter a hotchocolate on the house as she had just come from the swimming pool and was very out of gas. We have gone back for the wonderful Cabbage Rolls, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Gluten free sausages and have always had friendly, warm sevice with smiles. I love shopping locally and supporting families - especially when local is truely good hearty warm food.
I really appreciate seeing their menu on Facebook with photos of the daily offerings not only does it help me in deciding where to have lunch out but it also entices me toward Tys!
After eight years of having to load up my car in Vancouver for any specialty items I was ecstatic when I discovered Ty's in Sechelt. I'm offended by the review written finding fault with a)the lasagna and b)the customer service. Perhaps this person is not used to handmade noodles and sauce. People who are used to eating processed food get used to high salt and MSG content. You won't find that at Ty's. As for customer service I often see these women(literally) running out the door delivering lunches to shop keepers who can't get away. These women work hard, make beautiful delectable homemade meals and do it with a smile for anyone walking in the door.
Ty's just YUMMY. This little gem is well worth looking for. It is full of character, the service is incredibly helpful & friendly & the food is fab! We went in low season so it was very quiet but the staff made the atmosphere great.
Try the grilled cheese its like nothing you've ever had. YUM!
