Scrolled through town today on a little road trip and we decided to roll in cause we were starving. Husband ordered your AMAZING Morganater burger. All we can say is WOW! I thought I was handing him a brick wrapped up! Stellar burger for a fantastic price. Thanks again! My cheese and bacon burger was also super! I will spread the word and will stop in again if ever we are back through.
I stopped by the Golden Rail while passing through town on a walk across Canada. I am on a tight budget so I only got a cheeseburger, but it was huge, delicious, and filling. Mark was working and he took the time to visit with me in the cold. Even though I only spent five bucks I was treated like I spent 10 times that. That's indicative of what kind of joint The Golden Rail is. Keep up the great work, and thank you!

Fish & Poutine, a must have for $12.99. Talk about massive portions, and chip stand fries as good as the ones I grew up with in Ottawa. The Golden Rail is my new go-to when I'm in the area!
Order yesterday, picked it up and I was truly shocked as to how much food I was given. Large fries were homemade and one Order can feed a family of 4...LMAO... their fries are delicious and crisp.
I ordered 3 double paddy cheese and bacon burgers which were also delicious.
I highly recommend this takeout burger restaurant and I travel through every 2 weeks and I will be stopping in.

Today Mark and his son stepped up and helped us when we were traveling and we were in a bind. People far to often mention the bad service but today I was reminded of why we all got into business, to make an honest living and help people. Mark you and your family are a perfect example of that and we cannot express our gratitude enough. Customer for life.
Came here on the recommendation of Mr Woodward in Rossport. He recommended visiting Morgan at his chip wagon in Schreiber. The Morganator was a great burger and the servings were very large. Great value.
Stop for gas and food in the same stop.
Visited twice this week. One time tried the fish and chips, second time had a "Morganator" 🍔 and Sweet Potato Fries. Amazing food all round. Everything was homemade and served hot. Make sure to stop if you're near Schreiber.
We tried the fish and chips and the Morganator and it was enough food to satisfy 2 adults and a hungry kid. The chips may have been the best we've ever had - perfectly salted, crunchy, huge quantity. Fish was delicious, large piece, crispy not-too-thick batter and was served with tasty coleslaw. The burger had 2 patties (Vs the Morganator junior which comes with 1) which were juicy, seemed hand-made, and big.
We'd eat here again for sure if ever back in town.
Only negative was that the order/payment seemed a bit confusing: place order at food truck, take your order receipt to pay next door in convenience store, and then come back over to pick up the food.
Better than average burger stand. Awesome onion rings. Whistler hot dog fav of mine.
First few times the food was excellent.
Last two visits it was mediocre at best. Burger patty undercooked, fries undercooked.
