Difficult to find words to explain how great this bar is. Every night is a treasure. Great people, great bartenders and a great location make for the best of nights. I've been coming to this bar for years. It's where my all of my Saturdays became memories and where my friends became my best friends. It's always going to have a special place in my heart. Even though I don't live in Sault Ste Marie anymore it's comforting to know I'll always have a home here. Forgive my rambling but this place is so much more than the sum of its parts, it's not just about the worn stools and cheap drinks. It's the feeling you get when you walk in the door and hear your favourite song playing on the jukebox and see the bartender is already pouring your favorite beer and welcoming you in. It's an old school bar where you can still hear the person next to you talking and everyone really does know your name. 5 stars feels like hollow praise for a place like this, but unfortunately it's the most I can give. For anyone who reads this review and decides to stop in, know I envy you because you've found somewhere truly special. Welcome home.
Kind of like an urban saloon. Horseshoe bar, often live music. Mixed crowd. Lively crowd after work of Fridays. Mostly older blue collar and retired mixed. Awesome staff. Sherry the bartender is great. Lora the owner really cares about her place. Loyal patrons.
