If your gonna get a donair, stick to the lamb 4/5
The beef donair is sub par 3/5. The tzatziki is a must, and I'd recommend you at least try the sweet donair sauce on the lamb especially if tzatziki isn't your thing. These things only get better with sauce.
Its not the nicest location to eat in, but its clean enough. I just recommend getting it to go.
Ive been going here for years and got people hooked to this place. If you're looking for a place with nice decor then this isn't the place. The men that work here seem a bit closed off but they're actually really friendly. I always get the lamb or beef donairs, which they always load on the meat! There's quite a bit of toppings and sauces to choose from. It's a good price for what you get.
Not being from Saskatoon, or even Saskatchewan for that matter, I was disappointed to find that most if not all pizzas are this thick crust, deep dish, sliced meats piled high, square cut kind.
Being from halifax, where most if not all pizza places are owned by Lebanese (with their culinary influence applied), I was missing and really craving a delicious thin-moderate crust, triangular sliced pizza with toppings on top of the cheese. What the heck I say, lets try this place - they're middle eastern after all. FINALLY. I have found my go to pizza.
The crust is soft and light, crispy and the sauce compliments it well. Their website says they use 00 flour, which means it is a very light, finely milled flour from Italy. The result, I have found with imported flour - less bloat. No really. You don't have a food baby sitting in your stomach after eating their crust.
Even Better is the price. You can order an XL pizza with a good number of toppings for less than $25 - a real bargain.
I have yet to try their donair as they do not know what a "halifax donair" is and I wouldn't want to disappoint myself without the sweet yummy taste of the sauce that I know so well. For now, I'll stick with the pizza
very good and cheap pizza !!!!
donairs are always good but i tried there H67 special pizza unexpected best pizza i had it till now
good luck !
H67 "New Management" is very friendly, trained and know there job.
Chicken shawarma pizza is one of my favorite ,there donairs r still #1 in the city i recommended its worth it go and try.
Out of this world pizza. It's going to be tough trying new places knowing how good it was at H67. They have the option of thin crust, which is great for me and others who find deep dish less than desirable.
The only reason I'm not giving a 5.0 rating is because I recently went in to try the falafel. I couldn't tell there was actual falafel in the pita due to it being finely chopped and lacking of flavour
Awesome.. I love their donairs with the hot and sweet sauce and the pizza is pretty good too. I always get the medium 3 topping pizza for 10 bucks, price is right and very good tasting.
Not bad. falafel is better than donairs here. have had issues with their debit machines a few times, they make the food i can't pay so i go to a&w. their loss.
Best donairs east of Calgary, 2 thumbs up!!!
Best for Price in Saskatoon. I find that each place that serves donairs etc each has a different version of toppings and methods but after eating at 6-8 of them, I will drive the extra 10 minutes for H67!
Their large has at least twice the meat of anyone else serving donairs for more $$. Their toppings such as turnip and beets should be standard... most do not have them.
Wish the location on 8th was still there!
