To my surprise. Pizza was very very good. We we ill definitely return to try more menu items.
I go in on Thurstay Thursdays for the special which is coolers! Aside from "The Regulars" at the bar who look, laugh and try to be rude to you the place is okay! So to the owner! Your regulars are killing the place cause they act like they own it!! I have basically stopped coming here to avoid possible confrontation.
I love the Mug! As a regular, it has a small town feel, where you can go chat with friends while having a few drinks. Beers cold, food is hot, there's a pool table, buck hunter, some kinda golf game I haven't played, a new-age "juke-box" with new artists and sings to choose from. I know the women's bathroom is clean and I feel safe all the time when at the pub. Moved to Saskatoon over 10 yrs ago and while other places come and go, the Mug is always there! And it's open Christmas Day!!
Ukranian nachos!. I like that they have a late night snack menu at this place. Ukranian Nachos are awesome. However nacho sizes were a bit small and the sour cream salsa is tiny. CHEAP DRINKS!
Better than it was!. We used to come here weekly a few years ago but then the quality went down with new management. After a 2 year hiatus, we went back a few weeks ago and the food is back up to par!
The service is good too.
The atmosphere is still pretty dodgy but if you're eating at a pub, who cares?
I would recommend giving it a try (or another try if you were disappointed in the past).
Decent Place. My wife and I (and occasionally friends/relatives) pop in once a month or so, and find most everything pretty good. The people who have issues with the food, atmosphere, or service, are likely just bitter types and nit-pickers. Granted, it's not perfect, but show me a place in our town that is.
Great place. I would just like to say that the Copper Mug is an awesome place. I also think that for the person complaining about having to pay her loser friends tab... get new friends, I personally would be so embarrassed someone I knew bailed on a tab that I would pay it without being asked. Why should some waitress have to harass you in the first place? Also to the guy complaining about giving his credit card to the waitress, most bars require a credit card to run a tab... solution: take out cash like most people do. To anyone who isn't riddiculous I would highly recommend this place!
Sketchy, but nice. I frequent the Copper Mug on Wing night (Tuesdays). I can walk out getting two orders of wings and two schooners (1L) for under $20 before tip. The service is poor at best and it takes forever to get food. Outside of the wings the food is pretty bad. Lots of really rough people frequent this bar. Beer selection is pretty poor and is limited to the standard domestics for draught.

best food, intelligent and sweet new owners, sweet waitresses, great music.... i can go on and on and on!
ooo....and the best pizzas you can get in town! go check it out and you won't regret it!
