3 of us went for supper last night. were shown a table immediately and the server was at our table right away.we ordered drinks while we looked at the menu.we ordered meals and it wasnt very long before we received them. everyone agreed the food was delicious. nice fresh veggies in the dishes and pasta and sauce were fresh.the bread was fresh and still warm.wait staff was excellent. checked our table several times to see if we needed anything else and if everything was ok.would go back again and recommend to anyone to try it out. pasta and sauces made on sight
have been here several times, I have still not tasted all of their pastas on the menu. It is a good restaurant for families and friends to enjoy good pastas at fairly cheap price. They offer free bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil before you receive your meal, which is so sweat.
We just returned from this restaurant,
Went for a birthday celebration. Excellent service, amazing food, the waiter is the best you will find at any restaurant. Great value and professional staff. Can’t say enough good things. This (visiting Chianti) will be a monthly tradition for us.
The food was good but the waiter spent more time paying attention to two girls than actual waiting tables. Was not very happy glad the manager came over and give us a cake. Probably won't ever go again unless you gives me another slice of cake
Came here the other night with family for a nice dinner and it was great! Being on a keto (low/no carb/sugar) diet, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anything, but I did! I ordered the Con Funghi and substituted the potatoes for mushrooms. The cream sauce drowned the veal in the best way, with enough left over to dip the vegetables in. It was one of the best meals I've ever had! I'm a sucker for tender meat and creamy sauces. While it was a pasta frenzy night, it wasn't too busy, and the service was timely and friendly. Will be coming again soon!
Often me and my wife will go here and get a couple pastas, an appetizer and non-alcoholic drinks for less than $40. The pasta is good for the price, although some things are better than others. Would definitely recomend the quattro fromaggio and the romanoff.
I try to get to Chiantis for pasta frenzy whenever I'm in town. It's become my go-to for dates and family dinners out. There's 4 pages of pasta options to choose from during pasta frenzy and there's something for every taste. I always go for their cream curry sauce dishes such as the penne alla campesino with pineapple, chicken and sundried tomatoes. Service is usually pretty attentive as they have different servers attending to the oil/bread, ones who bring out the food, and then the table server taking orders/bringing drinks. I've been going ever since I was a kid (I'm in my late twenties now) and I can't think of ever having an unpleasant experience there.
Chianti's is the place for Pasta. As a pasta fan, I've always had a soft spot for Chianti's. Their list of appetizers and dfferent pastas gives a great diversity to their dishes from subtle differences to great plates to share in a group of people.
I had a half Fettuccine Athena half Fettuccine Con Creole.
The Athena is "Spinach Fettuccine Tossed with Tender Chicken Breast, Spinach, Bell Peppers and Fresh Tomatoes in a Creamy Feta Cheese and Oregano Sauce."
The flavours are very muted and soft. Overall, on its own it's quite bland, but the tomatoes and bell peppers really pop in the dish and compliment it greatly. The only issue was that the spinach pasta was just slightly under cooked.
The Con Creole is "Red Pepper Fettuccine Tossed with Chicken Breast, Roast Bell Peppers, Tomato and Green Onions in a Spicy Cajun Style Cream Sauce."
This one is a bit of a contrast to the former dish, it's spicy and more in your face overall, the flavour is more spread out with a light zing to it.
I was a bit surprised at how well the dishes actually complimented each other. The Athena was subtle enough that the Con Creole brightened it up. And Boy was this a colourful dish when mixed up!
The only issue I had was that the pasta was absolutely swimming in cream sauce. I love the bread there, so it wasn't much of a problem to sop it up.
I finished my meal with their biscotti, which unfortunately lowered the overall experience. The dessert was delicious, but unfortunately very hard, and clearly one of their front-counter grab and go's. It was delicious and quite flavourful, but not an easily shared dessert when piece go flying when you try to dig your fork into the cool biscuit. Over all the desert was quite flavourful and still light enough although I was as full as I was from my main.
The atmosphere is nice with the soft lighting for a dinner experience, however the location is a noise sponge and despite the low number of tables, it gets quite loud. The staff are friendly and the food always arrives quick and tasting fresh with Al Dante pasta.
Over all, if you're looking for a great pasta dining experience, Chianti's is the place to go.
Found my new favorite dish! Had Fettuccine du Chef last night. To. Die. For.
$8.95 pastas on Sunday, Monday and Tursdays. Group of 2. We had chicken Alfredo fettuccini and Penne Con Diablo. They were both very good but I wish the penne was spicy. It wasn't spicy at all. Not even a little bit so that was disappointing. We were seated fairy quickly and the server was very attentive. She checked up on us every couple of minutes and was very polite. The atmosphere was old, and it kind of smelled bad. Like cleaning products. I would eat here again but next time I will order online. Not a fan of the interior of the restaurant.
