I have a little story to tell. My muse (therapist) has taught me that part of getting better is making good memories. So I wanted to tell you all about how Salmon Arm and the beautiful Piccadilly Mall helped me build my perfect Saturday afternoon. My husband asked what I wanted for lunch, and there was simply no hesitation. I wanted Chester's. I adore that place! I settled in with my favorite pizza roll treat and a frosty French Vanilla beverage and enjoyed the new renovations. It looks so nice, updated but still classic and homey. My favorite things about Chester's are the simple, good food, the extremely affordable prices, and the way the entire place feels like sitting in my Grandma's kitchen. I also went to Bookingham Palace, where I found the perfect coloring book for myself, and a great gift for my handsome hubby. Then down to Your Dollar Store with more (A familiar face for me, as my hubby's family ran the franchise in Grande Prairie before we moved here.) where I stocked up on thread and sewing supplies and other goodies and made friends by letting my Southern accent show through. Strange how people up here seem to find it charming. Anyway, that's all. I just wanted everyone to see what a beautiful little place we have access to all the time, and say Thank You to those businesses that made my Perfect Saturday so very perfect.
