Review Taco Del Mar - Richmond

Ordered two soft shell tacos, loaded . Were very good . Would go back . $9. & change . Large inside area to eat or take out .

I've been coming here for a really long time. The customer service is really great. The new price increase is ridiculous though. I understand prices are going up, but my previous $13 is now $16.30. That's a 25% price increase for a small burrito, rice and drink. $2 alone for a table spoon of watered down guacamole. It's just not sustainable anymore for the small portions. I'm really disappointed, I did like this place and went a couple times per month. The owner will have to find new ways to adjust or risk losing a loyal customer base.

Worst and soggiest tacos I've ever had. The fish in the fish taco looked raw or boiled, and my hard tacos were soggy before I had the chance to eat them. The girl behind the counter said it would take 8 minutes to cook the fish, and it was ready in 3 minutes.. probably the reason for the terribly cooked food. Was also not given what I ordered, and the girl who made the tacos didn't seem to care about the food she was making at all. I was excited to try this place out, but was completely disappointed. I'm not a very picky person, but this experience was disgusting. Second picture is the "fish" in the taco.

Love this place. Me, being mexican and growing up on the food I can say it doesn't quite taste authentic but is a lot better and doesn't taste watered down like many other restaurants claiming to be authentic in BC. I have yet to find a place that does carnitas(mexican pulled pork) as well as Taco Del Mar in any restaurants around here either! I order with my roommates, I get the carnitas and i made everyone try it and now they all jumped on the carnitas train. Their baja sauce is the best too. Great stuff

The girl that served me was VERY unfriendly for no reason! Even rude. About the food: Small portion for the price. Taste was good.

Taco Del Mar seems to be disappearing. Not many locations left. This one is good, clean and straight-forward. However, Taco Del Mar was never an outstanding place to begin with.

Love taco del mar was happy to find a location the staff is nice here. I always order hard shell tacos and they're delicious

I had beef tacos, fish was sold out, and it was cold, dry and flavourless. Sadly I won't be coming back.

When I showed up, I wasn't expecting much. It looked like the average fast food place. When I got my food, I was pleasantly surprised! The food and the service is great! This is REAL Mexican food.

Best fish tacos anywhere!. Ingredients always fresh. Staff friendly. And prices fair. This isn't a Taco Bell--- it's actually really good food!

The meat (I got chicken) is juicy enough and while I’ve no doubt these are some cheaper ingredients and probably sit there for hours, the “wetness” is the right kind of finish to make you forget all that. Features: The actual restaurant is atypical of Nando’s and other sit-in fast food restaurants, holding about 20 guests. Not too much to get excited about, but it fits the Mexican theme enough. Service: The staff walk down the line with you as you fill up your burrito and for the most part they do exactly what’s necessary for the job and nothing more. Once, the staff member helping me told me to have a nice day, so you might get a little lucky with the staff here.
