A super place to eat in Lansdowne food court, loving their Vietnamese baguette, especially the fish one, with a cup of lemon tea. The staffs are super nice, will try their noodle soup and the lemongrass chicken with rice next time. Btw the spring rolls are delicious too, their price is pretty good for me, especially the beverages.
A fairly recent addition to the Lansdowne food court, and a welcome one in my opinion! Granted this isn't "authentic" Vietnamese food, but please try to remember that you're in a food court and you're not likely to find "authentic" anything. Just a thought. Onto the food! Nice big portions and quite a few good daily specials. Can't complain about that no? The Vietnamese-style spring rolls are really nice, though the regular spring rolls are a little too oily for my taste. Lastly, the staff here is really friendly too so that's a definite plus too. Virajie approves!
P.S. Run by the same people who also run Taco Luis so shouts out to them too!
This is a new place which opened not long ago.
They place serves almost like Vietnamese food but not entirely. The food they serve than can pass for Vietnamese taxes are the lemon grass chicken, the brochette ( a spring roll-like food wrapped in rice paper) then there's the taste of spring roll which is quite oily.
Over all however, you can buy reasonably priced food such as noodles with either meat or sea food.
There are not ready food heating up. They will cook it fresh or they heat the food in their oven. The price is reasonable. Customer service is very good. You won't lose your appetite with the amount of attention you get when you order food.
I'm surprised that the comments here are so polarized; but I'm on the positive side.
First off, this is definitely one of the least expensive meal in town, all their pricing is affordable.
S5 from the menu is always my jam, i ordered it everytime. a good portion in this price, the flavor of their sauce might be a little bit strong, but the taste overall is good.
A good little family style food court restaurant, with a reasonable pricing, a place where can get your tummy filled.
people always say you pay what you get, but for this restaurant, you pay more than you get IMO.
Tried the $5.71 combo and chose a beef sub and an iced tea. The iced tea was very good and even had a real slice of lime and lemon. The beef sub was also fresh and tasty, with a nice pickled radish and carrot slaw. For what you pay, it's a pretty good deal.
I had pleasant lunch at Villa Vietnamese restaurant. I don’t mind about who owner is after read the reviews abt it. First, server was fast to complete my order and after i pay 8$ for Pho Noodle soup, i thought i have no drink as menu. But they actually give free Ice Tea for me. The Pho soup is not 100% of Vietnamese taste, a bit lighter than original but good for everyone. Anyway we could recommend here that Owner should adjust this soup more flavor and smell. I voted their higher rate to hope they will make better for my next visit.
Last but not least, all things are acceptable this time. See urs better.
