Mui Garden - Richmond - Photo album

Their beef brisket curry is still the bomb. I ordered this prawn and walnut with special sauce that used to be amazing and have whole walnuts, now the walnuts are in pieces. Seems like the food quality is dropping due to inflationary pressures. I will revisit though as this is one of my favourite
If you look for "past" hong kong style “Cha chaan teng”. It should be a place to visit. Simple but speedy service, while the favour of foods recalled me back to cha chaan teng in hong kong, which is fading out... Hong kong style milk tea is something you should also try.
Average food but priced high considering. Food quality is also inconsistent. Yesterday, chicken wings maybe good. Today, all burnt! Yesterday, soup noodle maybe right. Today, all overcooked. And the only good thing about this place is quick. Here you ordered, there they bring up your food. With that
My last outing to Mui Garden was when Main St. still had a location. Heard the owner decided to retire (don't quote me on this). The chefs at that location had me going there 3-4 times a month. So it's been awhile and I ordered takeout at this Richmond location. My sweet and Sour pork had more
Picked up takeout and Beef brisket curry was chewy and the potatoes weren't fully cooked - They were still crispy in the middle. Used to love going to Mui Garden location on Main st and this is just disappointing.
Good flavours and fast service. Good soup, and hotpot, but roast pork in the hot pot wasn't great. Very tasty beef brisket curry. Large menu selection and reasonable pricing. The rice flavoured with chicken oil was a highlight.
I came from HONGKONG. The scale to determine if one Cha chann teng is good should look at their Ovaltine. If their Ovaltine has no taste it means they put not enough powder, and they don’t pursue to keep high quality of their food! The Ovaltine in this Cha chann teng has no taste! Their food is real
Best curry beef brisket in town. Other menu items like sweet and sour pork, Hainan chicken, and honey garlic spare ribs are awesome too. Service is friendly enough, same staff have been with the restaraunt for a long time. I recognize them and they remember us. Lots of regular customers here. K
