This place makes a surprisingly good Americano 👍🏻 it's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the village but a very cozy spot full of regulars. A nice stop for a visit.
There are a few coffee shops in Steveson and we decided to check out blenz before our whale watching tour.
Since it was early, 9:30am on a Tuesday morning, there was only one person working here. I can see it getting busy since there was only one person working the cash register and making the drinks.
I had the strawberry tea latte and I think I should have stuck to the basics. The latte did smell like strawberries and have a light taste of it too so if you like strawberries, you would probably enjoy this.
My friend had the matcha latte and enjoyed that. Next time, I'll stick to something familiar with.
My tea haven. My fave place to come for tea. I love a place that actually cares about the passion behind being a barrista. I love their Rooiboos Chai Latte (Caffeine Free). Wish the place was a bit bigger though.
In a word, utilitarian. Tiny, noisy, wifi available and it's not starbucks. Useful in a crunch but Waves beats all comers.
The Rocky Road Bar had mostly chocolate and marshmallows, which made for a sticky and overly sweet treat. A bite or two is delicious but too much can just be a sugar overload.
