My good friend, Aggie, and her husband Nick invited our family to having dinner here. This restaurant provides Shanghai delicacies and a bit pricy. However the quality of food is good. It's packed and noisy while we were there, it made a conversation difficult especially with many people sit on a big round table.😂
Great dining experience. Renee was great in ensuring service and dinner was satisfactory to our guests. Even sent staff to get extra crabs for our two tables. The other dishes were very tasty and highly recommended place for Shanghainese food . The lamb ribs were excellent . If there is a 6 star as review, they will deserve it.
Delicious! Haven’t tried the best Shanghainese dumplings restaurant in Vancouver and that’s the one! Both dumplings and bun are very juicy and most importantly not broken with thin skin! 🍽🍽
Authentic Shanghai cuisine. Cook so well and I love nearly all the food especially the rice cake and the noodles.
Very delicious shanghainese! Ordered the crab roe XLB, came piping hot and full of soup goodness! A Must-order! Deep fried yellow fish has generous portion size- they must have 10 pieces in there!
Preserved Cabbage fish dish was pretty good but there was too much peppercorn in the soup; always had 1 - 2 pieces in my spoon…very inconvenient. I would want to come back for lunch and try out other dim sum.
Parking & seating were limited. Make sure to make reservation ahead of time. There’s meter parking along the street outside Sun Sui Wah.
Delicious Shanghainese spot! I love their tomato egg, xlbs, and cumin lamb. Today we tried the drunken chicken which was a really fragrant and tasty appetizer.
Parking & seating limited, recommend RSVP if possible (takeout available). Tried two-person combo menu: found quite filling so took some dishes home! Each assorted dish of vegetables, pork buns, soup & fried dessert came piping hot and delicious. Hope to visit again for dim sum menu hour.
