Review Togo Sushi - Richmond

C M
Ordered from To Go Sushi Richmond Centre store. $17.5 plus tax for the 8 pieces Nigiri sushi, and the fish basically PAPER THIN. For this price and quality, I prefer to go to an authentic Japanese owned restaurant such as Seto Sushi in Richmond for a much better quality-price ratio.

I used to go here a lot when I worked closer. Ordered a large poke bowl to the tune of $17+ (incl tax). And it was TINY! Really disappointed at the size. I even asked them when I first picked up my order if it was in fact the large and she said yes. I've added my pop bottle beside it for reference. Likely won't be coming back here again.

This shouldn't be called sushi. Theyvare basically serving a huge lump of rice then add a very this slice of salmon or whatever your option is. Whan i ate my order it was literally just rice and the taste of Jalapeno

We’ve never had issue here as it’s been consistent but we find the one in Guildford is slightly better.

Rubbish sushi I call it. Rice was so hard and dry and tasted like yesterday rice. It was expensive and worse than the T&T sushi. Go there only when you have no choice. I rather grab the buns from the Hk style bakery next store for a quick bite. If you really need sushi in Richmond centre, do yourself a favor and get it from the food court.

One of the worst sushi I ever tried. Ordered via Uber eats where they have a good rating. Should’ve checked the google reviews first. Awful, uneatable food.

Ordered take out on the way out from shopping. Been a few years since i've been here and its always a popular spot in the mall to get sushi. Prices have gone up a bit but sushi tastes good. Only thing is that rolls seem to fall apart easily. Overall a good place to get a quick fix to satisfy a craving.

Husband and I paid for a take-out order from Togo at Richmond Center Mall in October 2016. We both ended up getting food poisoning shortly after eating. Very unhygienic establishment to cause such a reaction in BOTH people shortly after eating. Use CAUTION when eating here. There goes $20 down the toilet!

I love the quality of Togo sushi. They may look like your typical sushi spot in the mall but their sushi is way better than Umi Sushi in the food court. My favorite is the Oysi roll. Their service is really good too. Last time I ordered tea but changed my mind after and wanted miso soup. They ended up giving me both as she already made my tea!

Very blah. The rolls here are okay; they taste good, but are badly formed (falls apart when you pick it up). But DON'T order the nigiri sushi here. The sashimi on top of the rice is literally 2mm thick. You're paying $1.50 for a ball of rice. There are way better places in Richmond for sushi.

Pleasantly surprised. Being located in the mall, we weren't expecting much but since my 3-year old loves sushi, we thought it was worth trying over the MacDonald’s next door. The caterpillar roll was fresh and well-made and my daughter devoured it. I had the volcano roll, which again, was fresh and well -made and full of flavour. I'm so tired of sushi places in Vancouver where the rolls are sloppy and falling apart. This place had pretty rolls and they were very tasty.

AMAZING!. My favorite take out sushi place ever! I always go there for lunch break, they make sushi right away after the order is received VERY FRESH VERY FRIENDLY ! Amazing customer service! One of the best sushi places in Richmond! BTW, as I read the review below, I think perhaps he misunderstood the location? because, he said he got the bill later, this place you have to pay first.... and for my experience they never take more thn 10 min... I just wanted to make a note about that because I've been their regular since 2 years ago! Never disappointed!

Best sushi around Richmond Center. I come here almost weekly and order the same thing. Spicy chopped scallop roll and spicy tuna roll. I think that they have the best sushi around Richmond Center and for the best price. If you are catching a bus this would be the place to go to...always open ( follows Richmond center hours) and cheap and quick. I like their spicy sauce because it is extremely spicy....Sakura sushi uses a spicy sauce that is more sweet and their prices are also much more expensive

My regular sushi place. I love the sushi here, it's consistently delicious and clean. however the only complaint i have is that it's so over priced. i'm looking for a cheaper sushi place. sorry togo, but i cannot afford your rates. i should mention that i went to the togo in Oakridge and tried their sushi and it was disgusting.

Ok, but nothing special.. The service here is nice. The sushi is nothing exceptional. Nice green tea to go for a dollar. The new menu item- okonmoyaki- was really bad. Only a few pieces of small, extremely chewy octopus, and mushy in the middle of the cake. The prices here are decent. The sushi makes a nice lunch.

Who would want McDonald’s when you can have delicious sushi at similar prices right next door? That’s how Togo Sushi first caught my eye – displays of delicious-looking rolls were so tempting when you are lining up for McDonald’s. This little restaurant mostly has to-go customers but also a couple of seats for those who would like to eat there. The Kamikaze Roll was salmon on top of a spicy salmon roll. This would be perfect for any salmon lover. The fish, even that in the spicy salmon, was very fresh. I liked how the spicy salmon came in pretty large pieces. It was spicy but not burning. The rice was also quite nice.  The Awesome Roll did its name justice. On top of the California roll was cooked salmon, masago, green onion, teriyaki sauce, spicy mayo, and a ton of yam strings. I loved the spicy and sweet from the two sauces. The salmon was nice and the imitation crab and avocado inside the roll were sweet and creamy
