If you’re looking for an authentic and quality Japanese cuisine, then this is the place. The staff are hardworking and friendly. Very ambient and appropriate dining experience. I loved it through and through. I will definitely be back!

It was nice place for well prepared sushi. Pretty standard decor. Not super special, kinda the place to hang out with friends but maybe not a date.

The staff was really friendly, and the food was SUPER. The food was so authentic, especially the udon and the teriyaki box. The sushi was good too!vAlso really cheap and worth my time coming here. This restaurant can easily be 1st best restaurant in the whole Vancouver. Tip: try the udon!

Service was ok and food was delicious. We got the Goshoku Mori with Uni on the side, Special assorted sushi, and Spicy trio, and they tasted extremely fresh and tasty. The sake on the side really brought everything together too. Highly recommend coming here for the premium quality sashimi alone.

Authentically Japanese. Food was yummy and fresh. We pretty much ordered everything and loved it! Thank you, Yoko for the great service.

Celebrated Father's day dinner here. Staff was very attentive enough though the restaurant was packed. I ordered the house special roll and thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, would recommend trying this place out.

Been here a couple times and the flavour is on point. It’s authentic Japanese and not too sauces up sushi. Their dynamite roll is plain but so so so good! Their sashimi is very fresh and the rice to fish proportion is just right! The yakisoba is so good too. Most places have rather bland yakisoba but Kiyo does it really well! Service is good too! I really love this place and they also have these special menu items that change. One point deduction for their bowl dishes. Their “don” dishes is a little on dry side but the worse bit is that is totally flavourless. But literally everything else is amazing! Totally give it a try. I recommend calling ahead for reservations on weekends :) Lots of parking too!

Staff was polite and amazing. Shared stories about Japan with us. Food so good, Lobster Motoyaki is just awesome and same with the Gindara Saikyozuke. It really is just a hidden gem of a place.
