Great service, great food, gluten free menu.
What more can I say... I love the Old Spaghetti Factory!
The best place for meal in BC!
The wait to be seated was ridiculous. She said 30/35 minutes. It was an hour. They need to try and be better with this as it was hard on my 92 year old parents. We would have left if we’d known. Otherwise, the food was delicious! Much, much better than what we had had in Calgary the week before. Out server made a few mistakes but it was so busy in there, it was understandable.
I went to the Spaghetti factory before a movie this weekend and the general manager Thanh Hoang made what could have been a bad experience into a really good experience. The bar was out of the drinks we had ordered and after waiting awhile for something that never came, we asked to pay our bill because we needed to get to our movie and he said that the meal was on the house. I love spaghetti factory and will continue to go there in future. Thanks for making it better.
The best service we have had in a long time. The food was fresh and so good!!! The prices are beyond reasonable for what you get :)
Service and food is great. Nice to having parking right beside.
We had Sarah as our waitress! She was so great! Thank you Sarah!

A great place to have a good time over food and conversations. Ordered a couple of Sangria's as well as Seafood Fettuccine Pasta, Vegetable Lasagna, clam chowder soup and ice creams. I was feeling celebratory and added a prawn skewer. The food and drinks were awesome. The ambiance was cozy and the hosts were quite warm and friendly. My recommendation after a good movie watch at Silver City go for an awesome lunch/dinner experience at the old spaghetti factory at River Port.
○good service
○good food / big portions
○decent price for quantity and quality
○lots of parking
○family friendly / kids menu available
○if I had to choose 1 dish : gluten free linguini with meatballs and spicy sauce
○would i go back ? Yes
I decided to go other the movie meal deal. You save a few dollars on your movie ticket. For my entrée i ordered the chicken penne with extra sauce, and salad with ranch dressing. It came out Luke warm, but the flavour wasn't bad. The highlight always is the spumoni ice cream. Next time I think I'll buy the tub of spumoni ice cream.
Located in the heart of East Richmond, right beside the silverport cineplex theatre, it's a great spot for a family friendly restaurant. Kids get messy and loud, trust me this staff doesn't care lol. Alot of people don't know that if you pick a dinner entree on the menu you get 3 bucks off your movie ticket. Hey why not right? Your gonna eat anyways, why spend your money on overpriced popcorn combos, unless you want the scene points of course lol. Portions are generous, don't fill up on bread.
Spaghetti Factory is one of the few places where we can order Gluten-Free food and not worry about cross-contamination with glutenous food.
Good food and staff. We will be back next time we are in Richmond.
Ma Ma Pulosi's Lasagna keeps me coming back!
They do know how to make Spaghetti. One thing sure. This operations knows how to serve spaghetti. No swimming in sauce or a watery grave. Perfect combination of great tasting sauce and spaghetti cooked correctly. A family type place but seems great for groups as well. Ornate decor, very attentive staff and overall if you are looking for a reasonbly priced food experience The Old Spaghetti Factory may be a top choice.
One of my favorites, we eat here often. Never had a bad meal and very courteous staff. Excellent value, low price for all inclusive meal.
OK. You get what you pay for. I'm just giving the Old Spaghetti Factory a pass based on its value.
Clearly everything is made in mass quantities so you don't get anything with care put into it. Then again it's relatively cheap ($12-16 for a baron, sloppy salad, pasta, and unlimited bread, and ice cream).
The pop and bread are unlimited and staff are quick to bring seconds when you ask. Admittedly the bread is very delicious because it's so fresh.
Service is pretty standard as it's mainly university aged kids who run food and drinks for you.
Very basic, cheap and the dinner and a movie deal gets you $4 off the price of a ticket.
Like the food! Fast service..an we got 2 movie tickts for 8/per person
With many of the entrees, you get a choice of either Minestrone soup or Salad (this one’s a typical garden salad with ranch dressing). Veggies were pretty fresh and, as our waiter enthusiastically mentioned, the ranch is made in house. The minestrone soup here was actually tastier, and less salty, than the one in Gastown! The customary (sourdough?) loaf that comes complimentary with every meal. Again, I liked this one more as it was fresh, hot and crispy, compared to the other one which was…well sad. Yes I’m just going to keep comparing this one to the other location.
All in all, it would’ve been a good meal (as usual) if I just avoided the lasagna and stuck with my spaghetti & tomato sauce! Looks like Mama Pulosi really should’ve kept her recipe a secret! Nonetheless, service is super friendly and the restaurant is comfortable and not too loud. And the bread, soup and ice cream are all included in the pasta price!
While many would not agree with my views, I like Old Spaghetti Factory . They're simple and with a menu that probably hasn't changed much in my short 21 years of existence, you know that it's pretty much a formulaic restaurant. My memory is a little hazy
