Review Pajo's Fish And Chips - Richmond

I ordered Pacific Wild Halibut🐟 & Fries 🍟. The fish fillet is super crispy. The batter is not too thick. The filet is a bit on the oily side as it's fresh out of deep fry. I would recommend eating with brown napkins. Perfect food with a wonderful harbour view. Highly recommended 👍

Very light and flaky fish and chips. The cod tacos are probably one of the best fish tacos I've ever had! Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the fabulous Steveston area

Amazing fresh fish & chips. We got the three kinds of fish (cod, halibut, and salmon) and were not disappointed. This was my first time trying salmon fish & chips and it was very interesting to try. In the end, I preferred the cod while my friend preferred the halibut. The food was wonderful and there was only a minimal wait (~10 min) on a sunny Sunday afternoon in March. Would highly recommend if ever in the Steveston area!

The fish was incredibly good but it gets incredibly busy here (at least, the one on the wharf does) so be prepared to wait. I visited on a long weekend so I knew it would be busy; I was told the wait would ~15 minutes but we ended up waiting over an hour. They do have a pretty good system though where you order from window on the side and then pick up from the main window, and they have nice big trays that they give you. There is also a decent amount of seating available, if you can get one. I would definitely come back as the food was very good, but I will be better prepared for the long wait.

It's seems fitting to eat Fish and Chips when your down on the fishing docks in Stevston. I tried the Cod and the Red Snapper and was happily satisfied. The batter was crispy and light. The fish tasted fresh and flavourful and the chips were decent. Service was pleasant and quick.

We came for a walk along Steveston's famous Fisherman's Wharf. It was a beautiful, albeit cold day. Of course, we couldn't stop by without a visit at Pajos Fish and Chips situatrd right off the dock. The wait was long and when I approached the cashier, he gave me a heads up that wait time is around 30 mins. I appreciated the warning. Instead of ordering there, I used their app to order so I can walk around while waiting for the app to alert me. We picked up 2 orders of Halibut Fish and Chips. Halibut is our favorite fish for fish and chips and Pajos did not disappoint. The meat was flakey, yet meaty and tender. My mom and I really enjoyed them. They were perfect against the backdrop of Fisherman's Wharf. The chips were yummy though needed a good sprinkle of salt. They were cut the way they are suppose to be to be classified as chips. Now reading the comments from the owners in other reviews, I wonder if bottomless fries is still offered.

Craving Satisfied! Cod Fish & Chips and Cod Fish Tacos! You got to watch for those pesky birds who like to distract you. We went mid week, early just after 11AM, there was no wait, quick service and the order was nice and hot! Love the bottomless fries and the view! YUM

There's a wait of course (~20min) but Pajo's is THE fish and chips stop in Steveston. And it's located right on the water! There are limited spaces to sit right now due to covid and people waiting around but there's seating up on street level as well as benches. Food's great!

Over an hour wait, even when not seemingly that busy. Tiny portions, massive price. Ouch. Great taste though. There must be a better way to run this business? Young fella at the window, (even though NO line up), was telling everyone, "Just so you know, it's an hour wait", which prompted people to turn around and leave. Two people waiting for their food came up and one lady said, "I've been waiting an hour, and I'd like a refund". We had to go at that point. No line ups at Shady Island or Sockeye City, even though they were all very busy, we still had food in a few minutes.

We took mom out for a walk on mother's day ,down to Gates Park in Port Coquitlam and ordered a 3 PC fish & chips zucchini strips and 3 ice cream cones. I should have stated we have been here 100+ times before as well as Roxy Point and Steveston. Well the portion size was tiny we recieved fish portions as if ordering a 1 PC and such a dissapoitment as never in all the times before has this happened. I was just going to leave it but after picking up our ice creams after we finished our F&C the trend continued. Smallest ice cream cone ever. That's when I decide to say something. I spoke with the young lady who was the manager at the time and explained my dissatisfaction and gave her feedback that we were not the only people who noticed something has changed with Pajo's. As both the couple's beside us were talking about the same thing. I was told new management is in place with all new staff. The direction the staff at Pajo's were given was to cut down portion size by the new management. Anela (The young lady who was in charge) kudos to you. Pajo's is lucky to have you as we were offered some compensation for our feedback thank you for careing. This hopefully gets back to the manager of Port Coquitlam and ownership of Pajo's best way to loose customers is change what has worked for so long and made you popular!

Fish portions were pre-cooked and not hot even tho being kept under heat lamp. Soggy chips with too many garbage bits and ends instead of real fries. No reason for that when they are lined up and busy.

Was good but went mon jul3 and sat jul 8 and InP found the batter wasent cooked all the way through was wet doughy. Will still go back but wasent the best thos days

Usually great but this time the batter was a bit undercooked although the fish itself was great.

Long Lines to order, long wait times for the food, Severely Overpriced, and to top it off, the fish 'n chips at White Spot are better.

Had to use my go-go-gadget arms to get my food yesterday evening. But so worth it!

We've been enjoying Pajo's on the wharf since it's beginning. It's a 'go to for sure' for out of town guests & for our grandchildren! My husband's an artist & has sold many watercolours & 1 acrylic of Pajo's on the wharf...& one graces a wall in our home. Oh...and the food keeps us coming back as well!! C'mon down...you won't be disappointed!
