Not bad for value. At afternoon. Eat over $10 get a free toast/pineapple bun/pork sandwich. The renovation is good
My favourite dish of the three was definitely the garoupa. It was so tender and well-flavoured and the tofu was extremely smooth and soft.
It is hours before the Superbowl and I haven't eaten since 4 hours ago. I was running some errands on Hwy 7 in Richmond Hill, so I decided to pop in for a snack. I don't want to over do it since my best friend's wife is making her famous ribs for the Superbowl party. This is one of the most versatile restaurants in the GTA. They have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and traditional set dinners. I went for one of their "All Day" combos today. A Fish/Beef ball Ho Fun style soup noodle for only $3.99 and it came with a lemon tea. It was piping hot when they brought out the bowl. Half the bowl contained the fish/beef balls and the other half had their daily veggies. The Ho Fun noodles was so fresh and tender without sticking together. Those balls had just the right bounce to it to compliment the noodles. The broth was on the weak side, however I had a cold and some chili oil to mask it. For the more delicious soup noodle, I highly recommend their Gui Lin style soup vermicelli. $1 more but it is so much more tasty.
