Were hamburgers at Harvey’s always this juicy? I haven’t stepped into a Harvey’s in a while and even though Harvey’s is technically a fast food restaurant (which I don’t usually blog about), I think this juicy hamburger warrants a post from me.
Our Harvey's local restaurant recently was demolished to make room for the Zancor Xpression's Condo Sales Centre and building site. However, a couple of months later a new Harvey's ( 8865 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill ) opened up. We decided a Friday evening dinner would the best time to try it. My wife and I had walked past this location a couple of times since it had opened to visit the Shoppers Drug Mart store, LCBO and others in the area. We knew it was not as large as the previous location at Yonge & Weldrick Road, so there was a distinct possibility we would have to do take out and bring it home. We entered the store to be third in line. But the servers ahead of us seem to be moving quickly and orderly through having their order taken, burgers garnished and their orders double checked for completeness by the friendly staff. got three veggie burger combos. all very tasty. the staff was very nice and accommodating. my dad loves coming here because i enjoys talking to the workers. restaurant is always well maintained
I use Harvey's app to pre order my meal. When I arrived it was pretty busy. I am glad that to order the meal ahead of time. It saved me lots of time. The estimate time for pick up is quite accurate. A++ servise, nice staff. Parking lot is big, no problem with parking.
When I go to a specific fast food restaurant chain, I expect it to taste like all the the ones that I have previously tried and this one tasted like the Harvey's I grew up with, which is a good thing. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. I also ordered online to pick up and that was fine as well.
The employees were nice, however, we waited 10-15 minutes while five people to serve my friend and I. We were the only customers in the store. They were having conversations while we just stood and waited. At one point they let us know they forgot to put our onion rings in so we had to wait while our burgers were sitting there ready. Disappointing.
I come to this location often as I live walking distance. A couple weeks ago, I had such a great service from both Mohammed and Isaiah. They are super friendly, accommodating and attentive. They definitely deserve the praise, well done!
