ITS A PUB!
NOT CANOE IN THE TD CENTRE DOWNTOWN!
You are not going to a pub to meet the queen of England.
All these stuck up people giving a bad review are just clearly expecting way too much from a pub. This is an english/Irish style pub. Some people would argue and say that the way pubs are these days is more of a restaurant. This bar looks like any Firkin pub ( with better service). Its small so getting noticed by the server/ bar tender is extremely easy. Yes the men there are old.. but assuming they want to get into your pants cause you are younger then them is kind of a step too far.. and shouldn't be included in a review. I've talked with plenty of these dudes there and they are just older or retired men annnnnd women..

It was a Saturday evening, and we were in the mood for a pub for dinner. Not too far away from us is King Henry’s Arms. We’ve been there a couple of times over the years, and it was time for another visit. It is a very casual, cozy, British-style pub. It was only about half full, and we grabbed one of the comfortable booths.
SWMBO felt like having their Chicken Tenders. She got about half a dozen pretty large pieces. They were crispy and crunchy on the outside, and pretty tender on the inside. Not bad.
I went for a simple Garden Salad, and added Grilled Chicken. Nothing fancy, but done right.
Service was pretty good.
A great pub. Some of these reviews have nothing to do with the pub or the people that work there. After working in the industry for almost 20 years, King Henry's in richmond hill was my last stop. I have been to and worked the trendy downtown bars and spent half a career in regular pubs and worked at the wing and sports bars where most are just starting out in the biz. I have to say, i have never been a patron of or briefly employed in a place like Kings in rich hill. The staff are some of the best people ive met along the way and are top notch at their jobs. The two new owners Peter and Anders have done a great job keeping it as the "local" pub where you can go and feel "welcomed". The food is fantastic and the customers are "real" people. I've yet to see any customer get completely out of hand there nor have i seen "inbreds" as the one review stated. Like i said, ive spent nearly 20 years in the industry, in every type of establishment you can name, Kings is the best, Add up the owners, the staff, the cooks, the patrons,The fact ive seen more charity events there then on tv....makes it the place i want to go back to again and again............JREY
