Been to this place a few times for the buffet. They have lots of selection. The food was alright, but not very warm. I only go here if other people recommend it.
Best place for ordering authentic Chinese food! However, if you decide to come on a busy day you should expect an one hour wait. The servers are friendly but you often have to wave them down if you need a refill on something.
Ordered the dinner for two, pickup. Cost $21. Took 35 minutes as promised. Very good food. Good value. Fed two people and you are STUFFED and leftovers.

Today I ordered from another rest along with an order of chicken balls from Regency as a result of reading another review how good they were. Well, probably the best chicken balls I've had. I will try their other dishes next time I'm in Regina.
Only OK. Unfortunately we happened to go there on a night when the heat wasn't working. But that wasn't their fault.
We went with friends who apparently like north American style Chinese food. We are not keen on fried rice and chicken balls etc. Now that we know there is another menu, we will try it again.
However for what it was, the food was good. Vegetables were nice and crunchy. I cut open one of the chicken balls and it contained a big chunk of chicken breast. The ginger beef was funny. Some of it was really good, some of it was so chewy you that we didn't eat it all.
There were quite a few Asian people eating in the restaurant and I have to admit their food looked a lot better than ours, but then they probably ordered off the other menu!
I would definitely go there again and would try the Chinese menu.
Amazing food, always my number one pick for Chinese food in Regina.
Nice place on the prairies. Pretty authentic chinese food if you know what to order. ask for the Chinese menu if you don't want to have the American Chinese one. Was happy i came with a chinese friend or i would have never knew about the second menu. Recommend this for anyone who likes Chinese food.
The buffet is great here, as is almost anything on the menu. The fish maw fin soup is great. Definitely try their buffet.

Pretty Decent Authentic Cantonese!. I have been in town for work on and off for a couple of months and have been struggling to find a decent place to have authentic Cantonese cuisine. The Four Seas was the best that I found during my last gig in terms of authenticity but the dining environment was pretty basic and not necessarily the kind of place you want to bring a dinner guest (especially people who haven't had real Chinese before). I didn't have very high hopes for this place but saw the pictures that another user posted and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.
The authenticity of the place is pretty decent. I had some of my usual standbys to see how well they did with the basics. Sweet and sour pork, crispy chicken with garlic and soy sauce, fish and tofu hot pot, and some vegetables sauteed with garlic. For seafood lovers this place is pretty limited - there is no live fish or seafood. I'm not sure whether any place in Regina actually has this. Vegetable selection was also limited by geography. I like snowpea leaves ("dou miao") but they didn't have any. Only options were "yu choy" or "gai lan" (chinese broccoli). The greens were a little overcooked and soggy.
Service was pleasant and reasonably prompt, and the restaurant itself was clean and pretty well kept overall. Definitely a nicer ambience than Four Seas. There were a mixture of Asian and non-Asian patrons at the restaurant, and the stuff that the other Asian patrons were getting also looked pretty decent and authentic too.
Price was reasonable. For four dishes, tea, and rice it came out to around $60 with a generous tip. That's a little cheaper than what I would expect in larger centers like Vancouver or Toronto and the quality wasn't that far behind. Try this place if you're looking for some decent authentic Cantonese grub in the middle of the Prairies.

A NICE PLACE FOR A GROUP. Take your family here for a nice experience. bright, open and large restaurant. food is hot and good for the most part. service is always with a smile and always leave full. the buffet im not sure what its running anymore but its a comparable price to most other buffet places.
