The hype is definitely worth it. Don't walk, run to get a chicken sandwich.
The chicken is amazing - tender, moist, and cooked perfectly. The batter is crispy, yet light.
Everything is so flavourful, from the bun to the side of pickles.
The fries remind me of going to the beach as a kid; getting a paper bag full and dousing them with vinegar. So much nostalgia, but I'm fairly certain even without it, they're amazing.
And the donuts. Dear lord, the donuts. If they're there when you arrive - don't hesitate, just get one (or 5).
On top of the food being great, the staff are friendly, kind, and very helpful.

I had the sweet habanaro chicken sandwich. Hubby had the 3 piece chicken with fries. My sandwich was huge! Lots of delicious moist chicken breast with just the right amount of breading. The bun was also very good. Of course I stole some fires off hubby's plate 🙂 and they were really good. Actually tasted like potatoes!! What? Hubby is a fried chicken fan and he said his chicken was very good. We would definitely go here for lunch again. The service was quick and staff was friendly.
Five stars for the spicy chicken burger, three stars for speed of service. Unfortunately it takes forever for that chicken burger, although it is worth the wait. The burger is worth every penny and blows any other chicken burger away. It is humongous, tasty, and comes with two pieces of fried chicken pieces.
Very good meal. Glad they have moved locations and are open again. Best fried chicken in town. Once they are all settled in, set up and processes improved. it will be 5 star.
