Sam’s is an institution when it comes to donairs...the place has been there forever. Simply put, the donairs are perfect. Not the east coast style, it’s Sam’s style. Service is top notch. Super friendly, not sure what her name is but she’s got experience that supersedes the dive style ambience the restaurants has. Go to Sam’s, get a donair.

I went with my daughter after school to pick up some dinner. Around 4pm, so it wasn't busy. The chef who took my order explained a couple things to me and my daughter and we ordered about 25 bucks worth of stuff. I asked that it be packaged a certain way and that wasn't a problem.
Homemade donair sauce and garlic sauce for the schwaarma and the koopa was really nice.
Now, it is more of a dive takeout place with kitschy Elvis toys around, so not a date place, but great for takeout or a late night bite!
Like all great donair places.. the amount of meat far exceeds the capacity to which the pita holds. they should give you two pitas in fact. that being said, its every man for themselves when diving into one of these. very messy but worth the effort for sure!
Excellent!. Now I don't know if it's the fact tat this is the first decent donair I've had on 6 years or if I was that a hungry, but these guys do make an excellent donair! Very tasty and very generous portion sizes. I was a little surprised to discover their "garlic sauce" is actually just sweet sauce just with extra garlic in it. Not what I was expecting on my first bite but a combination that works. Best of both worlds. I must thank my friend again for the recommendation to this place.
Authentic Mediterranean, serving size is great, price is fair, friendly staff, could use some extra lemon in the roasted potatoes tho.

Nice and caring people that work there the food is the best I love how they make the Donair's and how clean they are so I go and eat every Saturday and Tuesday and every time I go there I go home happy and full of happiness LOVE Sam's Donair and vote yes for Sam's Donair and thank you for saying you like this restaurant :) :)

Awesome Donairs!. I used to go to King's donair all the time, but recently discovered Sam's! It has awesome donairs and the prices are a lot better. GO SAM.

Best donair I've ever had!!!! The portions are HUGE! very cheap price, you are basically getting two whole meals and that's only the medium size!!! I don't even want to think of the large size or the large size with extra meat! Please try sams, Dunia is a lovely, generous lady with a beautiful story. Her baklava is to die for, not too sweet, just perfect <3
They make a pretty tasty donair, however I feel it's way too much meat and not enough veggies. It's still great though and they season the meat very well. Could use a bit more sauce too.
HUGE donairs 9.50 for a medium donair, easily can feed two if two people could eat a single donair.
Stop by Red Deer looking for a quick snack and came across Sam's Donair. The owner is friendly and welcoming, food is amazing. Will definitely come back even if is a 3 HR round trip for me.
The best place in town for Donair and special treats, this is my second time here and i always feel spoiled. the best prices, the best quality, the largest portions in town, and the most exceptional customer service 👌
The lady was very nice and gave us the baclava for free and my mom had an argument with her to let my mom tip.

Best donairs, falafel, salads, baklava, everything! Incredible portion sizes for great prices. Dunia the owner is one of the most generous, hospitable, and kind-hearted people I have ever met. You can tell by her amazing service that she values each customer and genuinely wants to be your friend! I will come back here every time I’m in Red Deer.
