I have been coming to the lava grill for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed. It's generally my first choice when I think about eating out for a few reasons. Number 1 being because it is so dang delicious. Number 2 the quantity you get. Number 3 they are amazing there. Super friendly and super kind. Great customer service. All around would highly recommend. I believe this restaurant is truly a gem of red deer.
I went there this last Friday with a friend for the first time. I had the beef and chicken Shawarma platter and it was so tasty! The staff was friendly and the food was delicious so I have no complaints! I will definitely be back 😃
Food is delicious. $20 for a good steak is a fair price. Salad is fress, stake taste good, the garlic potatos are delicious. The service is excellent. I recommend it
Local friends have been recommending Lava Grill who stop in frequently, so had to try it out! Tried the Beef Shawarma and would 100% recommend! Taste like real hearty food, made fresh, and the owner was SO nice, genuine and kind! Great job Lava Grill! Will be coming back to see you for more great eats!

Our favourite place for takeout in Red Deer. It is so good that we can’t do much to branch out to other places. We love the chicken shawarma, beef souvlaki and kafta plates. We usually replace the salad with extra potatoes. Yum’
The best Shawarma in city. These guys know how to make the best food. Their humus is amazing n very delicious.
Wonderful local restaurant with an extensive menu. I must say they excel at everything. Food is made right in front of you. The salads are fresh, the Shawarma meats juicy and flavorful. They are generous with portions and will throw in extra sauces if you ask. Staff is courteous and polite even when the restaurant is very busy (which is often). Taco salad, the Shawarma platters, the calamari and the steak are our favourites as a family and everything else is pretty good (and we've tried EVERYTHING). We will continue eating here every week!
